Bonus Chapter

Lexi's POV

"Gio you still haven't apologize to Emilia have you?" I asked as we ate dinner.

"Why should I apologize? I haven't done anything wrong" Gio shrugged.

"Gio, I can't believe you. Its been almost a month now and Emilia is still mad at you" I said to him "I saw her today and I invited her to dinner, so you want to know what she said to me?"

"No but I'm assuming you're going to tell me?" Gio said looking at me.

"She said she isn't going to come over her as long as you're here" I replied. "I thought after telling her she's going to become an aunt and she being so excited, that everything was alright now. But apparently not, she's still mad at you for being a jerk about her dating Marc"

"So her feelings got hurt, I don't care I was trying to protect her" Gio replied "She can remain mad at me as long as she wants, she's lucky I didn't just kill the guy and post here back to Italy"

"Gio, this is getting a bit too old for me now. We need to get over this whole issue... No wait, actually you need to get over your issues now. She isn't a child anymore. She's going to be turning 19years old soon and Marc's a really great guy. You know what, you're lucky I didn't decide to date him myself, you'd have no problems worrying about Emilia now".

"What?" Gio asked incredulously.

"You heard me. Speaking of which, I'm going to go visit Marc tomorrow" I said to him.

"No your not" Gio deadpan.

"You can't tell me what to do, yes I am. I'm going to be seeing Marc tomorrow and afterwards I'm gonna be hanging out with Leon and Emily, its been ages since I've seen that little girl and I kinda miss her" I told him "You know, maybe its time for me to start hanging out more with my old friends once more. I think it'll be good for me and baby to hang out and develop around nice positive people"

"Not while you're my wife and with my baby you're not" Gio replied

"Well maybe if someone, will just quite being a jerk and apologize to Emilia and Marc I wouldn't have to go see him" I said standing up "Oh, and Leon is such a nice guy, he always apologizes. Maybe he'll be a good influence on my baby while he's developing. Think about it Gio"

With that I turned away from him heading out of the dining room hiding the smile that threatened to appear on my face. I knew I was riling Gio up when I said those things. I didn't make it far before I heard Gio calling me back which caused me to let out a laugh. Got him.

"Lexi! We're not done talking here"

"What do you think about this one?" I asked as I finished zipper up the side zipper on my dress as I turned to face Gio who was sitting on the edge of the bed putting on his shoe.

"How about something a little more concealing?" Gio asked shaking his  head while looking at my outfit.

"What!? Gio, do you want me to wear a garbage bag then or something? Because you've said that about my last three outfits. Right now I'm tired and seriously thinking of just staying home instead" I said throwing my hands up in the air.

Gio and I were getting ready to go hang out at EL FAMILGIA- that was the club where mostly members of the mafia group hang out- and this was the fourth outfit I had changed into. Every outfit I put on felt a bit snuggish or Gio said it was a bit too 'revealing' which actually meant it was showing up my figure more prominently. I tried changing into something a bit more 'appropriate' for Gio's taste but this wasn't something I seem to be capable of doing right now. I was pregnant and even though I was not really showing as yet, my body seemed to be, it was definitely changing slowly but surely. I had gain a few pounds around my hip area and also my butt had seem to gain some of those weight as well, therefore everything I put on these days was a bit tight and figure revealing and that's what I think Gio has an issue with- me going out in anything that looks that way.
