Prologue:

it is just after the summer holidays in which Brennan injured his leg whilst playing catch and therefore he is unable to do water polo for about a month and he has nothing to do after school so he goes and watches Katie at gymnastics with his mum, Annie is there at gymnastics as well. Caleb sometimes goes to watch with ms Katie too but not all the time.

Brennan's PoV:
I sitting here watching Katie and the rest of the coral girls doing there weird tricks and stuff they're actually really good and I never realised this because we don't have any gymnastics equipment at home and I never usually come to watch but I am very surprised as I never new that they were that good. I'm not just talking about Katie, all of them are individually amazing. Katie and Annie were on beam another few girls who's names I don't all know we're on floor, some were on bars and the rest were on that vault thing. I notice Katie do this weird thing on beam ( Author's note:Katie does a backhand spring step out back layout step out but Brennan doesn't know what that is called ) but she did it slightly bent legged then fell off. I laughed and then I saw Annie do it and I'm pretty sure she did it perfect."wow" I muttered to myself but my mum heard.
"What did you say there Brennan I didn't quite catch that?"
"Oh um I was just saying the stuff they do on the beam is amazing considering it's only like 10cm wide." I replied
"Oh yeah, anyway I just got a text from ms Katie saying Caleb will be here shortly to keep you company as he has just finished practice."
" ok, cool" I replied. I'm glad Caleb is coming because although it's quite interesting watching all the gymnastics, I don't really have anyone to talk to except for my mum and talking to your mum isn't the most interesting thing in the world.
I sat there watching Katie and Annie do all the beam tricks and routines until Caleb finally came. We started to talk and I noticed that Caleb looked rather happy with himself so I said " why are you in such a good mood, you're never this happy on a usual day so what's happened?"
" Well," Caleb started but as he continued my eyes got hooked to Annie who had just done her dismount off of the beam and it was really good ( it was a round of half twist) she landed looking proud and then I saw Katie run up to her and high five her and then they hugged each other. The friendship those 2 have is really close and it's quite sweet I'm glad to see them both happy. All of a sudden my eyes go back to Caleb just as I here him say " so now Sydney is my girlfriend." I looked at him shocked and then said " I knew you would get one soon I'm really happy for you bro." But in my head I thought about the day I would get a girlfriend and who it would be. I don't really like anyone at the moment I mean I know quite a few girls but I don't really like any of them. Then I noticed that the girls had gone in for a quick break but they soon came back out again and I saw Annie. There is something about Annie that catches my eye, I'm pretty sure don't like her, I don't like anyone, unfortunately.

I just went on my phone for the rest of their session as Caleb was too, probably texting Sydney, but every so often I would glance and look at Annie and sometimes she would see me but then I would look away, I mean I don't want to look like I'm staring. Eventually it came to an end as I got up to get ready I notice Katie and Annie walk through the door laughing as they approach. "What's so funny I ask them?". They both stop and Annie looks at me then looks down and smiles while Katie says to me " Oh hi Brennan we were just saying that Annie finally did her backhand spring step out back layout step out on the high beam perfectly and I didn't. " she laughs at the end then I say. " Oh that's what that cool thing you did on the beam was, oh, well, well done Annie and not so well done Katie." They both laughed at this then Annie looked at me and said "Thank you."
Ms Katie then came along and said Annie we need to go now come on."
Annie then left and we walked back to the car, well I crutched.

Once we got home we vlogged for a bit, ate dinner, did what made me happy today, I said " going to watch Katie at gymnastics because I haven't been for about 5 years and I didn't realise how good she and the others are." We then said good night to the camera and after that I watched the football for a bit until I went to bed. It took me a while to go to sleep as what Caleb had told me earlier was flooding through my head and when I was going to get a girlfriend and I thought about this for ages and about who it would be and how long we would stay together for and if we would ever get married and possibly ever have kids and I drifted off to asleep with all these weird thoughts flowing and circling around my head.
