Chapter 21- all a dream

Annie's PoV:
My eyes shoot open and I sit up, sweat is dripping all down my head, I look around me at the living room. I then look down at my leg, it's fine, it was all just a bad dream, no not the nightmares starting all over again. Suddenly a flashback of the dream comes back into my head, I start panting louder and louder. I hear Brennan sit up behind me, then he puts his arm around my waist and rubs my tummy, while kissing my shoulder.
I start crying so Brennan wraps both hands around my tummy and hugs me from behind tightly while leaning his head on my shoulder. Still crying, I leaned my head on Brennan's. This was the amazing thing about Brennan, he didn't immediately fuss and ask me what was wrong, he calms me down first and cheers me up, I couldn't ask for a better boyfriend.
Memories of the dream, or should I say nightmare, kept flashing through my mind, which kept setting me off again. To calm me down Brennan switched on the tv and lay me back down on him, I eventually felt tired again and before I knew it me and Brennan were both asleep again.
The next morning:
Annie's PoV:
I felt Brennan wake me up for school. I was still really tired because I hadn't gotten much sleep the past few nights. I groggily get up and get ready for school then we all leave.
School was quite good because I was in all my lessons with Katie and Brennan, however I just wanted it to finish because straight after school ms Jill was taking me to the hospital to get my foot get checked up on and hopefully rid of my crutches.
Eventually it came to the end of the last lesson and the final bell rang.
Everyone went to the school doors. Mr Mike was there to take Brennan and Katie home, while ms Jill was also there to collect me. Katie says bye and good luck to me before hugging me and walking off, while Brennan says the same before he quickly kisses me then runs to mr Mike and Katie who were waiting in the car.
I sigh before crutching over to ms Jill and getting in the front of the car.
"Hello dear, how was school?" She asks.
"It was good thanks," I reply before we set off to the hospital.
Brennan's PoV:
We are all waiting for Annie to come home, I'm worried for her, she really wanted to get good feedback about her ankle and get rid of the crutches.
We waited anxiously until we hear the door open and Annie limps in no crutches. Katie runs over and hugs her happily and once they pull away, I walk over to Annie and embrace her. We both pull away and smile. I'm so glad she's happy again. Me, Katie and Annie all do some homework until dinner is ready.
Everyone finishes dinner at 8:00 then we all watch some tv before it turns to 9:00 and I see Annie yawn which then makes me yawn. Annie then whispers "can we go to bed soon." I nod my head before getting up with Annie and saying "we're going to go to bed now because we need to catch up on some Zs." Everyone says goodnight, then me and Annie go to bed.
We get changed, clean our teeth then go to our room. We are going to start sleeping in here again as Annie no longer has crutches. I get into bed then Annie gets in next to me and we switch on the tv before settling off to go to sleep. After about half an hour later I look at Annie and see she is sound asleep. I smile, kiss her forehead then go to sleep myself.
The next day after school:
Annie's PoV:
I'm really excited for gymnastics because my ankle is healing well which means I should be able to compete for the level 10 meet in about a month. Today I am mainly going to do bars but I'm going to try beam as well just not do anything to hard on it, because beam doesn't put to much strain on my ankle if I do basic things.
Brennan has water polo today so he can't come and watch me, but it's not the end of the world.
Me and Katie get ready and then leave.
Once we arrive we warm up and then go over to beam to practice our routines for the meet. I did keep my trainers on because I wanted to be extra sure that I didn't hurt my ankle even more. I go through mine a couple of times just with out some of the harder moves like the back tuck or back layout step out. I did practice some back handspring step outs with the harness which supported most of the weight instead of putting it on my ankle.
We finished up on beam had a little 5 minute snack break then went to bars to practice our routines for the meet. I did practically all of mine except jumping on the bar to jump to the high bar, and the double toe shoots because they put pressure on my ankle.
After 3 hours of gymnastics practice was over and everyone left to go home. Ms Jill came to collect me and Katie however on the way to the car I saw my mum was dropping off Hayley for her gymnastics. I hadn't seen them for over a month, but I just ignored them and went to Katie's car.
On the way home we stopped off at the supermarket. Because it was Brennan's birthday in 2 days we bought some decorations, and a plain cake which me and Katie were going to decorate when Brennan went to water polo tomorrow. We also got him a few extra presents to go along with the ones we had already bought. Ms Jill had got him the new Xbox, Katie had got him the new Fifa and a new football shirt for Manchester city, and I had got him an iPad as he was always saying he wanted one.
We payed for everything and then went back home.
I went in and distracted Brennan while ms Jill and Katie bought in all the stuff for his birthday.
We then ordered a pizza for dinner, before getting ready for school tomorrow until the pizza arrived.

Soon it was time to go to bed so everyone said goodnight to everyone else before going to bed, I fell asleep quite quickly and had no bad dreams yay!
