BRANNIE(completed)

Chapter 6- of course!

Brennan and I get up and say good morning to the parents before Brennan says " mum there's something we need to tell you."
"Ok what is it" Mrs Jill replies.
" well um me and Annie are..." He began but was soon interrupted by mr Mike.
"Dating, oh we know, Katie may have blurted it out to us and Ryan and Hayley yesterday just before we went to bed."
"Oh " me and Brennan looked at each other with surprise before I say
" trust Katie she can't keep anything inside her mouth for longer than a day." I laugh but then Brennan says very seriously " so are you ok with us" while grabbing my hand.
" of course we are dear we know Annie very well and we know she is a good girl and you 2 will be careful and sensible."
"Yay!" Me and Brennan both say in unison. We both run up and hug Mrs Jill and mr Mike.
We then ran downstairs to where all my stuff was and got ready for the day ahead.
Brennan's PoV:
For lunch we went out. We walked to the nearest cafe, yes walked I'm finally off of crutches but my foot isn't properly heeled so I still have to were this little ankle splint thing but it's barely noticeable not like my boot was. Me and Annie held hands all the way there while Caleb was walking with Hayley and Katie with Ryan. I was so happy to be able finally holds hands with Annie in public and show her off to people saying look at my beautiful gorgeous girlfriend.
I love her so so much.
We arrived at the restaurant, ate lunch and then walked home, me and Annie holding hands again.
Once we got home we just relaxed and ate dinner then relaxed some more until it was bed time. We decided that all 6 of us were going to sleep downstairs in the living room tonight so my mum put a selection of air beds, mattresses and a large camp bed. I managed to get the large camp bed because of my foot, Annie and Hayley got air beds while Ryan, Katie and Caleb had the mattresses.
After a few games and a lot of talking we all said goodnight and went to sleep.
Annie's PoV:
I had this nightmare where I broke my leg really badly and it meant I couldn't do gymnastics ever again. I started crying as I woke up and then I heard a tremendous bang! And then I saw a flash of lightning. No not thunder storms I hate thunder storms what am I going to do. I started crying louder so I decided to go upstairs so I wouldn't wake anyone up. Once I snuck upstairs I ran to the sofa and poured my eyes out.
Brennan's PoV:
Annie was sleeping next to me so when I heard her get up it woke me up, she looked quite upset so I slowly got up as to not wake anyone up and crept upstairs. As soon as I got there I saw Annie sitting on the sofa pouring her eyes out so I immediately run over to her, put my arms around her, put her on my lap and rocked her back and forth. Once she had calmed down a bit I asked her what was wrong and then she shakily said. " Bbbrennan I had a nightmare and then I woke up crying and then a massive clap of thunder banged and then lightning flashed and I'm really scared." She sounded really panicky and I know she is really scared of thunder so I started rocking her again to calm her down and then I said soothingly, " sshh, it's ok gorgeous, I'm here now and I can protect you from the thunder, would you like to sleep with me in my bed tonight?" I asked her. She shakily nodded her head so I picked her up and carried her to my bedroom where I laid her down, shut the door to try and block the thunder out even though it was really loud, and laid down beside her. I could hear her quiet whimpering so I wrapped my arms around her and every time there was a clap of thunder or a bolt of lightning I would feel her body slightly jump, then I'd rub my hands down her leg before saying " sshh it's fine I'm here now gorgeous, your going to be fine precious."
Just as I think Annie is settling down and starting to go to sleep an absolutely massive clap of thunder banged outside the house and I must say it even scared me. Annie started crying and shaking again, I was trying to think of a way to shut her up but I couldn't think of anything. Then suddenly I had an idea I pulled away from me a bit so her face was no longer buried in my chest, I lifted her chin up and kissed her, surprisingly she kissed back after about 1 minute of kissing we both pull away and I notice the thunder has stopped. Then all of a sudden Annie says " thank you Brennan I really don't know what I would have done without you." She still sounds shaky but at least she's not crying any more. "Your welcome gorgeous, I'm glad you're ok now." I replied before kissing her on the forehead. After about 10 minutes I noticed Annie was asleep. I smiled to myself because she looked really cute when she slept and also she wasn't crying now.

I lay there thinking to myself poor Annie she looked so scared and if i wasn't there I don't know what she would have done. I eventually fell asleep in bed with Annie still in my arms, me cuddling her like a giant teddy bear. I'm glad she's ok now though.
