Chapter 9- Ill miss you

I decided to spend most of the day with Brennan as I see Katie practically everyday at gymnastics but I don't get to see Brennan as much. We all do our different things: Hayley, Ryan, Katie and all 4 parents went on the boat, Caleb a was in Brennan's room on his phone probably face timing Sydney and me and Brennan are laying with each other by the fire place.

"I really don't want to leave Brennan, I'll miss you." I say sadly.
"I don't want you to leave either and I'll miss you too, but we'll get to see each other again soon." He replied.
I sadly nodded my head, then look down but Brennan lifted my chin up and kissed me. I'm really going to miss this.

We stay laying with each other by the fire place and then we see my dad come down and after he sees us he says " I see you to are having a very proactive morning, you should have spent it with your families and not have just been selfish and spent it with each other. Any way lunch is ready." He said in an angry voice.
As he went up the stairs my eyes started watering but Brennan must have seen me as he
turned me around to face him, wiped my eyes, kissed me and then said "sshh it doesn't matter what he says, we have each other gorgeous, and that's all that matters."
I slightly smile at this then wipe my tears away, grab Brennan's hand and walk up the stairs with him.
Hayley saw us and ran up to us with her hands behind her back then said "guys look what we found on the boat trip." She pulled out a giant dead fish which looked really creepy so I stepped back a bit and put my hand on Brennan's chest while he put an arm around my waist. Out of the corner of my eye I saw my dad looking at me cuddled up into Brennan, and role his eyes. What was wrong with him, why didn't he like me and Brennan being together. Oh well I was trying to make today a happy day so I blocked him out of my mind and then said " Hay-Hay please can you get that thing away from me, I mean you did well to catch that but it's really creepy the way it's staring at me with its dead eyes." I laugh whilst saying this and Brennan rubs my back, I look at him and smile before we both sit down and eat lunch.
After we finish lunch, we all go downstairs to play a giant family game of charades. Because there aren't enough seats Brennan says I can sit on his lap. Once I sat down my dad looked at me with a scowl and said "Annie I'm sure Brennan doesn't want you squashing him so why don't you go and sit over there,"he pointed to a tiny little space on the other side of the room from Brennan in between Hayley and Ryan.
Brennan's PoV:
" know it's fine I don't mind" I replied to mr Billy.
"Well at least don't sit on sit next to him if you have to Annie."me Billy then argued back.
Annie reluctantly moved and sat next to me on the chair. I put my arm on her shoulder, rubbed it and smiled at her.
We played a really funny game of charades and then the adults started to pack everything up and told us we should start saying good bye.
I firstly went over to Hayley and gave her a little high five and then a hug goodbye. I then went over to Caleb and we did a bro hug I then said goodbye to him as well.
Then I while I was still in the kitchen with Annie I saw everyone else outside saying good bye to each other and getting in the car. I went over to Annie and held her waist while she held my neck. I kissed her for about 10 seconds then said "well I'll see you in 2 days gorgeous."
"Yeah you too handsome, I will text you tomorrow or tonight if I can." She replies then she hugs. I was enjoying the moment until mr Billy appears and says "come on, we need to GO" he says with emphasis on the "go" as he literally pulls Annie away from me and out of the house.
I go down the stairs and we all wave them off until their car vanishes. I only have to wait 2 days to see them again. But I don't know if I can wait that long. I go back to my bedroom and think about Annie. After 5 minutes of deep thoughts my phone goes off it reads:
Annie💘: only 2 days till I get to see you again handsome xx
Me🏈: yeah, these are going to be the slowest 2 days of my life without you here gorgeous xx
Annie💘:☺️☺️😘😘
Me🏈: 😘
Annie💘: my dad says I need to get off my phone now😔there is something up with him anyway see you on Saturday handsome💜xx
Me🏈: you too, I hope you have a good nights sleep gorgeous 💙xx
Annie💘: yeah I hope so too bye xx
Me🏈: bye, remember to call or text me if you need anything xx
Annie💘: bye xx
I switch my phone off and get ready for bed. I then go to sleep trying to work out what was wrong with Annie's dad.
