Chapter 4- butterflies

Brennan's PoV:
I think I am definitely falling for Annie but I dare not tell anyone, if anyone finds out it will end up getting spread to probably Annie and possibly even the fans. The only question is does she like me back. Probably not I think she just a sees me her best friends brother. I am thinking to myself when my mum comes in and says " kids ms Katie and mr Billy have been invited last minute to this YouTube convention thing for the weekend so Caleb, Annie and Hayley will be staying here for the next week from today (Sunday) until Friday." I'm really happy that they are all coming over, especially Caleb but I'm slightly nervous about Annie.
Annie's PoV:
Mum just told me that we are spending a week at Katie's house because they have to go to this weird YouTube convention all the way over in London. Although I am really excited to go there Brennan will be there in the same house as me for a week. I get butterflies every time I'm around him.
Brennan's PoV:
The Bratayleys are coming over this afternoon and I'm in a really good mood as we have just been to the hospital and although I still have to use crutches I got my boot off early so my leg feels free again although I still have to wear trainers even inside the house but I don't mind.

Katie helped me set my room up so there is a little camp bed next to my bed ready for Caleb to sleep in and in Katie's room she has 2 camp beds ready for Annie and Hayley.

Just as I'm going past the door on my crutches to get some food the doorbell rings so I open it and I am greeted by Annie who immediately shouts Katie then realises I'm not Katie. She quickly says " oh sorry Brennan I thought you were Katie " she does a little cute giggle at the end the looks down at the floor shyly.
"Don't worry. It's fine." I reply slightly laughing.
Then Caleb comes up the stairs from the car and says " well are we going inside or what." Everyone laughs at this and then comes inside.
We vlog for a bit and then we switch the camera off and all go down stays and play a big game of mario cart together which I haven't done for ages.
There are only enough seats for 4 of us and I get priority because I am on crutches and Hayley and Ryan get 2 because they are the youngest then Katie some how manages to persuade Caleb to let her sit on the remaining one. So that left Annie and Caleb standing up.
Annie's PoV:
I'm left standing up with Caleb which I don't mind but my legs start to get tired so I decide to perch on the end of Brennan's chair as it is the nearest and the biggest, however as soon as I sat on the arm and lifted my feet up, I ended up sliding down into the chair, right into Brennan!
" oh my gosh I'm so sorry, is your leg alright did I hit it?" I said in a panick
" no it's fine, I'm fine, but if you wanted to sit down you should have just said, you can sit next to me. I don't bite." He said with a cute laugh at the end. So I went and sat next to Brennan, but I wasn't paying any attention to the video game all I was thinking about was the fact that I am sitting in a 1 person chair next to my crush. Aarrgghh.
I am snapped out of my thoughts when Brennan asks me to go upstairs with him and get some food so I agree. I stand behind Brennan while he uses his crutches to go up the stairs the we go to the kitchen. We grab all of the food but somehow me and Brennan ended up having a mini food fight in the kitchen which resulting in me spraying a load of whipped cream into his mouth. He laughed and then did the same to me but then he just stood there. What he said next I was not expecting at all.
Brennan's PoV:
I decided just to tell her how I feel about her as i don't think I could keep it to myself any longer. "Um Annie I just need to get this out of me ok and I know you probably don't feel the same way about me, but I really like you."
" oh my gosh Brennan you don't know how long I have waited to hear that!" She replied. I was shocked she felt the same way about me.
"So Annie Grace LeBlanc would you do me the pleasure of being my girlfriend?"
Annie's PoV:
I can't believe what is happening right now, my crush is asking me out. This is can't be happening, oh my gosh my dream has come true! "Yes, yes, yes!" I say with great excitement. We then both hugged and I couldn't physically process what was happening right now! We both pulled away and then looked into each other's eyes, we both started to slowly lean in when " omg what are you 2 doing?" I heard a shocked Katie say behind me.
" oh um er" I replied before she interrupted and said.
" wait are you 2 a thing now?" Me and Brennan nodded our heads shyly, I was worried about what she was going to say next. "Oh well congrats you guys, you look really good together." She said happily.
After that we all went back downstairs and at the food me and Brennan had prepared.
I was standing up eating when Brennan patted the spot next to him for me to sit down.
Brennan's PoV:
Annie came over and sat in my chair while I put my arm around her and she laid her head on my chest.
We stayed like this for I while until Caleb,Hayley and Ryan came down from playing on the trampoline. Katie got up and I was about to when I noticed that Annie had fallen asleep on my chest so I lightly shook her to wake her up and said " sorry to wake you up but dinner is ready." I said quietly while rubbing my thumb over her hand.
" oh ok" she replied. So we both got up and then she helped me up the stairs and we sat down and ate. No one apart from Katie knows about us yet so I go over and sit next to Caleb and Annie sits next to Katie so it doesn't look like something is going on between us.
Although me and Annie didn't want to look like something was going on between us, we couldn't help but constantly stare at each other but luckily Katie was sitting in between us so she kept nudging both of us and then we snapped back to reality. It eventually got to night and everyone got into their beds. Just as I was about to go to sleep I noticed the door open and Annie was stood there. I quickly sat up and checked that Caleb and Ryan were both asleep which they were and then Annie came over. "I just wanted to say goodnight."she said and then kissed my cheek and got up to leave, but I grabbed her hand and whispered in her ear "goodnight to you too." Before kissing her cheek as well. She laughed then ran to the entrance before stopping and blowing me a kiss. I do the same to her before I go off to sleep happier than I think I have ever been before. I finally have a girlfriend and I couldn't ask for anyone better than Annie: the most intelligent, funny and prettiest girl I have ever met. As I go to sleep, I smile to myself replaying what has happened today and how happy I was and still am now. I have a dream that night all about Annie, gosh I really do love that girl.

Yay brannie are together now and both very happy but will they be able to stay strong throughout the tough obstacles that will emerge throughout the relationship.
