Chapter 41- christmas party

Just over a month later...
Brennan's PoV:
Today is Christmas Day which is exciting and today also marks the day Emily turns two months old. For Christmas my family and I plus Edward are all going round Annie's house where Mrs Katie is hosting a party. Our family will be there and Annie's family as well.
I get dressed smartly then I see Annie, she looks beautiful as always. she is wearing this:

And she dressed up Emily very cutely in this dress:

While Annie was doing her hair and makeup I got all of Emily's stuff ready, I packed a blanket, some nappies, some baby wipes, some bottle mixture, a bib and her little cardigan. I put Emily's coat on then strapped her in her car seat. Annie then came out looking even more beautiful, my mouth dropped.
She came over and I smiled at her before we waited by the door with Emily. Everyone else soon came out then we got into the car, I strapped Emily in before we started driving.
Annie's PoV:
We have just pulled up to my old house. I open the boot of the car and grab a large bag with people's presents in while Brennan carries Emily in her car seat. We knock on the door and Hayley opens it, I hug her tightly. I haven't seen them since before Emily was born because we've been too busy but now I can finally see my family. I hug mum, dad and Caleb, who has come back from university for a couple of weeks. Everyone comes in. Mum sees Emily and says "so this is Emily." Whilst rubbing Emily's tummy causing her to smile. "Well congratulations you two, she's beautiful." Dad said smiling at his grandchild. Everyone then holds Emily and David before we all sit down in a circle, Emily on Brennan's lap next to me, and give out presents. I gave:
-Hayley an expensive make up palette and her own hair curler
-Ryan a virtual reality headset he wanted
-Katie a bundle of make up in this cute bag, some Bluetooth beats headphones, and some clothes.
-Edward the same headphones as Katie in a different colour and this ab workout thing
-Caleb some clothes, and a large drone
-Mum some expensive perfume and a group of candles
-Dad some weights and a Fitbit
-Mrs Jill some candles and some expensive chocolates
-Mr Mike some DVDs he wanted and some funny slippers that were elves
-Brennan a set of brand new top quality golf clubs, a personal calendar I had ordered with me and him in it, and a signed Manchester city shirt.
I even wrapped up 2 presents for David and Emily I opened Emily's for her. I gave:
-Emily a new pink teddy
-David a matching blue teddy.
I received lots of amazing things, the things that stood out for me though were this beautiful necklace Brennan had bought me, a new phone my dad got me and a ring Katie had got me. Once all the presents were opened it was time for the Christmas lunch, Brennan quickly bottle fed Emily before putting her down in her vibrating chair next to the table, while he sat down for lunch. We all said cheers before tucking into the roast dinner. I looked around the table at everyone laughing and smiling, it was so good to see everyone together and happy, no drama. Once we had finished lunch Mum said "there are a few more presents for you at Mrs Jill's house so shall we go round there now?" Everyone got up excitedly and got in the two cars. Then we drive home to open more presents. Once we got home there was quite a few presents laid out, mum came over to me and Brennan and said "mine and Mrs Jill's present for you two is in your room, go and look." We smiled before going to our room. Brennan opened the door to reveal that our room had been totally redecorated, it looked amazing and we also now had a double bed! Mine and Brennan's side of the room looked like this:
