Chapter 12- The Obsession

Luke's PoV:
As Izzy left I gave her a thumbs up and she gave me one back. Izzy had just told me that she had thought of a plan to get revenge on Annie and Brennan as I know she likes Brennan, I don't really care about what Izzy wants, I just want Annie all to myself, I will go to extreme lengths to get her. (Author's note: Luke has a strong obsession about Annie and will do anything, even if it's stupid to get her to be his. No one apart from Izzy knows about his obsession so the two are working together to ruin there relationship.). I sit down and go on Instagram to see what Izzy's plan was. Soon my fingers stop scrolling when I see what she has posted. Wow this is good: Izzy has just released to the world that Annie and Brennan are in a relationship. Nice one Izzy. I am happy but when I actually study the picture a wave of jealousy hits me, it should be me wrapping my arms around Annie, not Brennan! I examine it closer. They both look happy in each others arms. No! I switch my phone of then go and eat breakfast.
I notice Annie and Brennan aren't here so I ask why they aren't down yet as it is quite late.
" oh well they're staying in bed a bit longer so they can sort out between them what they're going to do about the Izzy situation, and Annie looked a bit upset so Brennan's going try and cheer her up a bit before they come down. Have you seen what that Izzy girl has posted it's ridiculous." Mrs Jill said angrily. I nodded my head, but I wasn't really listening, the thought of Annie in bed with Brennan just made me angry. I needed to stop this.

Brennan's PoV:
Me and Annie are just laying there trying to relax from what just happened. I'm playing with her hair. And she is running her fingers along my chest. I decide we need to do something about this Izzy situation so I say to Annie "how about we do a vlog today and clarify everything. But only if your up to it." She slowly nods her head. I need to cheer her up. Think Brennan think. Then an idea comes into my head, this is going to be embarrassing. I switch my phone on and put a the first song that comes up on, which happens to be Mercy by Shawn Mendes. Oh God here goes nothing I start singing along, Annie lifts up her head from my chest and starts laughing at me, I carry the on until I can see that Annie is smiling. I then stop singing and switch the song off.
"Honestly the things I have to do to cheer you up." I say laughing. Annie laughs as well before laying her head back on me but this time she was still smiling.
"Do you think your ready to get up now gorgeous." I ask her "as I'm starting to get hungry."
"I was just about to say, I'm getting really hungry as well." She says as we both laugh, I'm glad she's happy again. I give her a quick kiss before we both get up, grab each others hand and walk down to breakfast.
Once we both get downstairs people look at us then nod, everyone has obviously seen what Izzy has done. Annie gives a faint smile while I rub my hand over her thumb.
We both sit down next to each other and have breakfast, but I notice Luke is across the other side of the table and keeps on staring at us. Weird. Suddenly my mum comes down after getting dressed and says " ah, I see you 2 are up, well good morning, oh also Brennan I asked ms Katie and she said she is happy for you to stay for as long as you need but Ryan and Katie want to go home, so I'm going to go home now and get you a weeks worth of clothes, then bring them back round here and take Ryan and Katie home. Is that ok?"
"Yes that's great, thanks mum". I say as I smile at Annie but once again I see Luke out the corner of my eye, clenching his fork very hard, then it hits me: I think Luke likes Annie and he's jealous of me. Oh no, I hope this isn't true. I brush my thoughts aside, say goodbye to my mum and continue to eat breakfast with Annie.

Once breakfast is finished everyone gets ready, then we all go on a giant family boat trip. Caleb a and Sydney share a blanket, Hayley and Katie share one whilst Ryan and all the adults are at the other end of the boat navigating it. Me and Annie are also sharing a giant blanket. I notice that Annie has fallen asleep her head buried into the side of my jumper, so I put my arm around her, pull the blanket up over her a bit more so she doesn't get cold and stroke her arm with my thumb.
I think my theory about Luke liking Annie could be true as he keeps smiling at Annie then giving me a weird look so I just move Annie closer to me every time I see him do this.

Eventually we get back, I lift Annie up as she is sleeping and carry her to the living room where I sit down on the sofa then put Annie down on my lap with her head resting on the arm. My eyes start to feel heavy and and before I know it I'm asleep with Annie on my lap.

Annie's PoV:
I wake up and see Brennan asleep too. I then realise that I am on Brennan's lap and I try to remember how I got here but the last thing I remember is falling asleep cuddled into Brennan's side on the boat. My eyes start to slowly close again. All of a sudden I hear the dogs bark really loud and immediately Brennan wakes up and my eyes shoot open. We both look up to see Luke shooing the dogs away. "Luke what are you doing with the dogs." I question, as he looks up a bit shocked. Brennan grabs my hand before Luke says " oh um I was just coming to check on you and then they got in my way." He says smiling.
"Oh thanks for concerning about me but I'm fine." I say whilst turning back to Brennan and smiling at him. Luke then leaves and then I lay back on Brennan before he says. "Annie I might be wrong but I think Luke might like you."
"Brennan I was thinking the same thing he's always smiling at me and it's really weird. Don't worry though handsome I don't love anyone in this world anywhere near as much as I love you." I say staring into his eyes.
"I love you too gorgeous." He replies before kissing me quickly.
We then hear the doorbell ring and since we are the nearest to the door, we get up and answer it. A cold ms Jill steps inside, says hello to us and then gives Brennan all his stuff. She then goes to talk to all the other adults while me and Brennan go to my room and sort all his stuff out.
After we're done I tell Brennan I'm just going to go to the toilet quickly, so I leave the room only to be grabbed and taken into a random room. I looked behind me at the person who was grabbing me and it was of course Luke.

Oh no, what is Luke going to do, he said he will go to extreme lengths to get Annie to be his, but what exactly does he mean, and will anyone discover Annie has been taken. Find out soon.xx
