Chapter 2-Spill

Annie's PoV:
As me, Caleb and mum arrived home from practice Caleb kept looking at his phone and smiling. Something was different." Come on spill" I said to him but Caleb then replied with "What?". So he was playing that game was he, well I'm am going to get it out of him even if it takes all night." You know what I'm talking about, why do you keep looking at your phone and then chuckling to yourself?" I said as I raised an eyebrow.
" Fine I may have got myself a girlfriend today." He said looking smirk.
" well congratulations who is it." I questioned
"Syd" he said blushing
"Syd nastical?" I asked
" no small syd from your gym" he replied
" What!" I said totally shocked
" Relax Annie I was just joking of course it's sydnastical"
While I was really happy for my brother, a thought was going through my head: when would I get a boyfriend and who would it be. I mean I really want it to be Brennan as I have recently started really liking him, but I am pretty sure for a fact that he doesn't really like anyone at the moment but I do catch him staring at me at gymnastics when he comes to watch but I shouldn't get my hopes up.
Caleb snaps me out of my thoughts and says " oh by the way me and Bren were watching you and Katie at gymnastics and you're both really good so we have agreed that we are both going to come more often because we never come and watch and we didn't realise how good you were."
"Oh" I replied. I wasn't sure if I liked the idea of Brennan coming to watch me more often i mean it would mean I get to see him more often but at the same time I could embarrass myself but I'm sure that it'll be fine.

I decided to clear my mind I would go and practice some skills on the trampoline so I went outside and practiced. I managed to stick a back handspring double tuck back which I was quite proud of and I also worked on my round off one and a half which I still haven't quite got perfect at yet but I am getting better at it.
I decided to FaceTime Katie and show her these skills so I did and she went out into her garden and did some tricks on the grass. After that I went up to my room and Katie went in her kitchen. All of a sudden I heard a "Ryan!" And then a "ow!" Katie looked behind her then back at me and said " don't worry Ryan just pushed Brennan over as a joke while he crutching over to the fridge to get some food. She turned the camera on her phone round and showed me Brennan lying on the floor trying to get up with his crutches. " a awe, poor Brennan." I said to Katie but then she replied saying "nah he's fine, he'll survive." Then Brennan appeared on the screen and said " yes Annie's right poor Brennan." I laughed shyly before Katie said "well I have to go and do some school now Annie, I'll see you tomorrow at practice, bye"
"Ok, bye." I replied before pressing the end call button.
I decided to get an early night but it took me a while to get to sleep as I kept thinking about Brennan; how funny he was and how cute he was and with these thoughts in my head, I fell asleep.
