Chapter 39- surely there's another way?

1 week later:
Brennan's PoV:
Today is mine and Edwards first day of college, to be honest I'm a bit nervous. I wake up to the sound of Emily crying so I pick her up and take her to the living room, allowing Annie to have a lie in. Emily is now 3 weeks old and looks more like me and Annie everyday. I get her bottle mixture ready whilst Emily is sitting on my hip. I feed her for 5 minutes. Edward and Katie come out with David shortly after. They haven't started bottle feeding him yet so Katie feeds him while Edward makes breakfast for me and him, then we get ready for school. It's then time for us to leave so I go into my room and lightly wake up Annie. She sits up as I say "I'm going now, see you later." I kiss her head before passing her Emily then walking to college with Edward.

Once we arrived we got a lot of stares, but we ignored them all and went straight to our form room.
Annie's PoV:
I get woken up by Brennan lightly shaking me, he says "I'm going now, see you later." As I sit up. He then kisses my head before giving me Emily who I guess he's already fed. I smile as Brennan leaves the bedroom.
I then pick up Emily as I get up myself. I join Katie who is having breakfast.
We then get ourselves and our children ready. We then do a bit of online work. A bit later we both decide to go to a nearby cafe for lunch so Mrs Jill drove us there then we went inside and me and Katie sit down at a table.
We both ordered our lunch whilst we sat and talked. Both David and Emily were asleep in their car seats that we brought to the cafe so we didn't have to worry about them. Once we finished eating we got our laptops out and did some more online course work.
About an hour later we finished so we waited for Mrs Jill to come and collect us.

Once we returned home I put Emily in her bed then sat in bed scrolling through Instagram. I then looked around me at mine and Brennan's room and saw it was a mess so I started cleaning it up. Just as I was making our bed, I feel 2 hands slowly wrapping round my waist, I smile to myself, before holding the 2 hands. I then turn around and kiss Brennan. "How was college?" I say, still holding his hands in mine. "Good actually, were you ok while I was gone?" He replies. I nod whilst staring into his chocolate brown eyes, he does the same before we kiss once again.
We were obviously being a bit loud as Emily woke up and started crying. Brennan picked her up and went to get a bottle, we then both sat down as Brennan fed Emily.
Once Emily's finished being fed, I leave her with Brennan and me and Katie get ready for gymnastics, then leave.
3 hours later...
Me and Katie have just got home from gymnastics and everyone is sitting down for dinner so me and Katie join them. As I'm sitting down next to Brennan I kiss his cheek and say "hey, where's Emily."
"She fell asleep once you left so she's been in bed ever since." He says whilst smiling. I nod before we both eat dinner.
We then all go downstairs and watch tv. Suddenly I here crying from the baby monitor so me and Brennan go upstairs. Once we get up there Izzy has somehow got into our house and is standing in the living room, holding Emily.
I grab Brennan's arm in shock and panic. I swear if Izzy does anything to our daughter I will kill her. I start walking towards her quickly but she shouts "move another inch and I'll drop her on the floor." She said talking about Emily. I stopped immediately then Izzy stepped closer so she was just over a metre away from us. "Brennan come here." She said. Brennan looked at me then I nodded so he reluctantly stepped forward. Izzy turned his head vigorously to face her then leaned in, Brennan pushed away and said "what the hell are you doing?" Izzy then said "it's this or your precious daughter will end up on the floor." She said staring at him. There was clearly something wrong with Izzy. No one would go to such extreme lengths to just kiss a boy, she needed to go to a mental hospital. Suddenly everyone else comes up from the basement as they hear the noise. Izzy shouts "none of you move or this ugly baby will end up dead on the floor."
I started to cry with anger and fear, anger that she had just called my baby ugly and fear that she was going to drop poor little Emily on the floor.
"Izzy just stop and think," Brennan starts "if you drop Emily on the floor the police are going to find you and lock you up again, do you really want that?" Brennan said. Izzy stopped and thought for a second "the police won't find me, they won't even know it was me who did it" she says back "they did last time." Brennan pointed out. She frowned and said "everyone shut up, you guys go back downstairs, Annie you stay here." Once everyone went back downstairs she said "Annie you stay right here, I want you to see something, feel the pain I have felt ever since you guys got together, feel your heart being stabbed, torn away piece by piece." Once again she leaned in to kiss Brennan he pulled away and said "no I can't, surely there is another way."
Izzy then said "no there isn't I guess I will have to do this. "
Once she said that she held Emily out and let go of her!
"Noooooo!" I screamed whilst crying
