Chapter 22- Brennan's birthday

Annie's PoV:
Im really excited because today is Brennan's birthday, I made sure to wake up extra early so I could get everything ready, I put decorations up and the cake that me and Katie made on the breakfast bar. I'm going to play I little trick on Brennan when he wakes up. I looked at the time and it was 6:30 so I went back to bed next to Brennan and went back to sleep.
My alarm then went off again at 9:00 so I turned it off then gently woke up Brennan.
Brennan's PoV:
I feel Annie gently wake me up so I rub my eyes. She kisses me then says 'Good morning handsome'. Does she not remember it's my birthday, oh well, I guess other people might of.
She got up and said "oh sorry, I forgot to say," I raise my eyes in hope that Annie hasn't forgotten but she then says "do you want to come to the bonfire night celebration with me, Katie and Edward?" How could she forget, I nodded my head and said "sure" sadly. I decided to ask her so I said "Annie you do know it's my birthday today, right?" She turned her smile to a frown then said "oh my gosh Brennan I'm so sorry, how could I forget?" I fake smiled but inside I was hurt, had anyone else remembered. Trying to change the subject she said "come on let's go to breakfast." I willingly took her hand and stepped out the door.
Once we stepped out I saw there were decorations everywhere and mum, dad, Katie and Ryan were standing there with party hats on "surprise!" They all shouted including Annie. "Wait what, so you did remember?" I said to Annie, a bit confused.
"Of course I did, how could I forget your birthday" she replied. Everyone else went and sat down and got food. I turned to Annie who was now smiling.
I smiled to, kissed her then we joined everyone else. On the way to the table I walked past an amazing cake which Katie said her and Annie made.⬇(pretend it says Brennan at the bottom)

️I hugged both of them before sitting down and enjoying breakfast.
Later...
Annie's PoV:
It's 17:00 and we are going out for Brennan's birthday tea. We are going to a Chinese restaurant. I'm wearing this:

Brennan's PoV:
We left and drove to the restaurant. Once we were there, everyone got taken to our table. The order of us was Katie, Annie, Me, Ryan, dad, mum, then mum was next to katie.
Everyone ordered what they wanted, and after about 30 minutes the food came.
It was really nice, Ryan didn't like anything on the dessert menu so said he wanted to go home and have ice cream, me and Annie agreed before mum and dad paid the bill and we left.
Once home everyone got changed into some more comfortable clothes and then we did our own things, mum was helping Ryan with some homework due on Monday which he was going to finish tomorrow, dad was taking Katie to gym for a meeting about elite or something which Annie didn't have to go to and Annie was sitting on my lap in the living room. We were both watching football whilst eating ice cream. Suddenly Annie said "I almost forgot I have one other present for you." She jumped up and ran to get it
While I laughed a little. She had already given me some new clothes and this really cool new hat so I don't know what else she has got me.
She came back with a rectangular shaped box, gave it to me then sat back on my lap.
I opened it to reveal an iPad! And not just any the newest one that came out last week!
"No way " I said covering my mouth in shock.
I was speechless so I just hugged Annie and pulled her down so she was laying on me, still hugging. She laughed before saying "your welcome, I knew you've wanted one for ages"
I kissed her head before we both sat back up. Today had been one of the best days of my life.
A minute later the front door opened and Katie walked in.
"I see you've opened your present." She said as she walked over to me and Annie. I nodded happily.
The rest of the evening me, Katie and Annie played games on my iPad before Katie looked at the time and said she was going to bed. Me and Annie both said goodnight to her before we headed off to our room as well.
Once we were all ready for bed, we got in. I turned Annie around to face me and said "thank you so much for the iPad Annie, I still can't quite believe it." She smiled. I then said "I don't know how I could ever thank you" she stared into my eyes while I started into hers. "I know how," she replied edging her face closer to mine, looking at my lips. Without saying anything else we both started kissing, I hadn't done this for ages and it felt so good, we weren't going to make the same mistake as before but we were still allowed to make out, I hope.
I rolled us over, still kissing, so she was on top of me and while I did this, I could feel her smiling in the kiss so I smiled too. She then straddled me so I sat us up, still kissing her. ⬇️

I didn't ever want to do this with anyone else apart from Annie.
All of a sudden there was a knock on the door so me and Annie immediately went back to lying down as if nothing had happened.
"Hi sorry to disturb you 2 but I just wanted to say a final happy birthday to Brennan.
I got up and hugged her before getting back into bed with Annie, Katie walked towards the door, but stopped and said "by the way I heard everything you 2 lovebirds were getting up to." Before leaving. I looked at Annie and laughed, so did she.
"Now where were we?" I said before she jumped back onto me and kissing me.
