Chapter 38- better

The next day...
Annie's PoV:
I wake up like usual to Emily crying just past 6:00am. Brennan is still sound asleep so I take Emily out to the living room. I'm going to try feeding her bottled milk so once she stops crying I go over to the kitchen, with Emily still in my arms, and make the formula. I then try giving it to her on the sofa, it takes a while but eventually she drinks from it, about 5 minutes later she has drank half the bottle so I take it from her mouth and put it on the work surface for later.
Brennan then comes out of our room and sits next to me. He looks so much better then yesterday. "How are you?" I say. "I feel fine, I think I'm back to normal again." He says whilst smiling. That's one problem sorted, now we just have the fan problem.
Me and Brennan eat breakfast ourselves before getting ready. I dress Emily in this:

Mrs Jill said she needed some shopping so I said me and Brennan would go as we needed to walk Emily anyway. I put Emily in her pram then me and Brennan walked to town. Once we bought all the things Mrs Jill needed we waited for her to come and collect us as we didn't want to walk home.
When we were waiting however, a fan must have seen us as she came running over. More people saw us and ran over until there was a large crowd. All of a sudden there was a flash. I looked up to see paparazzi there. I picked Emily up and covered her face from the flash. More and more people were running over and more paparazzi came. I hugged Emily tightly whilst shielding hers eyes from the flashes. People started screaming my name which caused Emily to start crying so Brennan took her off of me and rocked her gently in his arms, soon some security men from a nearby shop came and tried to push the crowd of people away. I looked around me at people's hands trying to grab me, flashes from cameras and shouts of mine and Brennan's name. I start panicking. Brennan clearly sees me as he embraces me still holding Emily. The cameras start flashing even more, paparazzi wanting to get a picture of us like this. Brennan hugged me for about a minute until his phone rang. He passed Emily over to me and answered it. After a minute he hung up and said in my ear, "mum is here." I nodded then we told the security guards. They then shouted for everyone to move out the way as Mrs Jill drove through the gap.
The security guards opened the car door then I got in to the far side taking the pram in with me. I got the car seat out of the pram and strapped it into the car. Brennan then passed Emily through and helped me strap her in. He then said thank you to the security guards before climbing in the car next to Emily.
He shut the door behind him, did his seatbelt up then we drove off.
"Are you two ok!" Mrs Jill said worriedly.
We both said yes before we had a conversation the whole way back about what we were going to do about the fans. We hadn't showed Emily in any of the videos yet as we're going to let her grow up a bit first instead of shoving a camera in her face when she is so young.
We eventually get home and tell everyone to watch out of the fans. I do really like the fans, they're so supportive and we wouldn't have got anywhere without them, just when they go too over the top it all gets a bit scary.
I feed Emily lunch again from the bottle as I want her to get used to it, then burp her. About 20 minutes later she was asleep so I put her to bed then went to have lunch myself.
Later...
I have gymnastics later with Katie. It's Katie's first time so we're both going to try and get back some of our skills.
We had a good session and both of us are getting better. After 2 hours it was time to go so we said goodbye then went home.
Once we got home Brennan and Edward were watching the telly, which was on the news. I walk over to them as they both look concerned I sit down and see on the telly that the news reporter is saying. "Brennan Donnelly and Annie Leblanc, both internet sensations, have finally been spotted together with there daughter who's name we do not know yet, enjoying a nice day out. Many fans spotted them and crowded around causing paparazzi to appear. Here is a video of them, sent in anonymously." A video then came on which had been filmed by one of the cameras. It showed me picking up Emily and covering her face, then the security coming along as the crowd grew louder and louder. It carried on to show Emily starting to cry then Brennan taking her off of me and rocking her. The video then showed me starting to get panicking then Brennan hugging me." The video ended and it went back to the news reporter who said "in other stories..." Brennan switched the tv off before coming over to me.
"Are they even allowed to put that on the news." I say as he puts an arm around my waist.
"I don't know but we can't do anything about it now." Brennan replies. I sigh before getting changed out of my leotard. Dinner was ready so I sat down and ate it still thinking about that news report. I looked over at Brennan and saw he was eating normally again so I smiled to myself before carrying with my own dinner. Just as I finish I hear crying coming from our room so I go and get Emily and bring her to the table.
We all have an early night. I go to sleep still worrying about that news report.
