Chapter 8-The last day

Annie's PoV:
I'm quite sad because today is the last day we are staying at Katie's house. Mum and dad are arriving in the morning and then they are going to stay until the evening so I have all day to spend with both families. I wake up in Brennan's bed, Brennan lying right next to me, (in this sort of position⬇️)

I have been sleeping with Brennan in his room since that other night while everyone else has been sleeping in the down stairs living room. I have been sleeping with Brennan because there has been a few more thunder storms. Luckily there was none last night. I think they've finished now, well I hope so because I won't be sleeping with Brennan tonight.
I look at the time and it's still really early but I'm very thirsty so I lift Brennan's arm that is wrapped around me, off of me, get up out of his bed and go into the kitchen. It's really cold in there so I make sure I am quick. Once I've drank the glass I go back into Brennan's room shut the door quietly, tip toe back to bed with Brennan and put his arm down and back around me again. I soon fall asleep again.

About 2 hours later I get woken up by Brennan lightly shaking me. " hey handsome." I moan groggily.
"hey gorgeous, did you sleep ok again in the night?"
"Yes I did last night but what am I going to do tonight, I won't have you." I say playing with his hair in my fingers.
" don't worry Annie I'll always be with you in your mind" he said as he kissed my forehead.
Just after he said that, there was a knock on the door and ms Jill walked in.
" hiya you 2, um Annie I just wanted to remind you that your mum will be here in an hour.
I nodded and said "ok"
She stood there for a few seconds before she said " ok. Is everything alright, did you 2 get a good nights sleep?"
"Yes we did mum, now can you please leave us alone" Brennan said slightly impatiently. I laughed at this and buried my face into Brennan's bare chest whilst laughing.(like in the picture above the title.)
"You 2 are so cute together, my Brennan's growing up so fast." Ms Jill added in.
" mum! " said Brennan who was starting to get annoyed at his mum. I just laughed at this.
"Oh right sorry I will leave you 2 in peace, goodbye lovebirds." She said before leaving.
" urgh, finally, sorry about her." Brennan said laughing.
" it was sweet, and very funny" I say laughing as well.
" well it's just you and me now ." Brennan said while his face edged closer to mine.
"Yep, just you and me." I say staring at his eyes and then his lips. He kisses me but not for long as we didn't want anymore incidents like last time.
Brennan pulls away and says, "I'm really going to miss you gorgeous."
" yeah me too but hey the New Years sleepover party at mine is in 3 days so I should see you then." I reply
" Hhhmm but I don't know if I can wait that long to see your beautiful face and kiss you." He says getting close to my face once again.
"Well, I could give you a little present that will stay in your mind until then."I say.
" oh and what would that present be?" He questions. I run over to his door, lock it and run back over to him. I stare into to Brennan's deep caramel eyes and then at his lips. I attach mine to his and once agin we have an intense kissing session. Brennan is such a good kisser and so much passion was going into his kisses. After about 10 minutes we heard a knock on the door so we pulled away. Then Brennan said "who is it?"
"It's me, Katie why is the door locked? What are you 2 doing in there?"
Brennan quickly says "oh I'm just getting changed and Annie is..."
"....texting my mum." I quickly reply hoping she will buy it.
" oh ok, well Annie your mum just phoned and said she'll be here in 10 minutes so I just thought I'd let you know." She shouted through the door and then left.
" Brennan that was close I say"
"Yeah I know right, we can't get any privacy around here."
"Yeah I know. Oh you need to get dressed now that you have told Katie that you are and I might as well too and then we can go to breakfast. How does that sound handsome?."
"Sounds like a perfect plan gorgeous" Brennan says before quickly kissing me and then taking his shorts off. I go on my phone while he gets dressed and he does the same for me then we walk out his door to the kitchen and start eating.
Once we have finished eating me and Brennan cleaned our teeth, then we did our hair and while Brennan was just finishing off his hair I did a light, nude makeup look. When me and Brennan stepped out of his bathroom we saw my mum and dad there. I ran over to them and hugged them then went back to stand with Brennan.
My mum then says " so ms Jill tells me that you 2 are a thing now." Me and Brennan shyly nod our heads and the my dad says " well congratulations" but he doesn't look or sound too happy about it. Oh well I'm sure it's nothing. Everyone else comes upstairs and then we all go and play. I'm going to make today really good because it is my last day round here for a while and I'm going to treasure it.
