Regina

Four Weeks Later

"Emma! I feel stupid!" I cried as I sat under the big oven in the hair salon, my long hair now "baking" under the heat while she got her nails painted.

"Relax, it's a day of beauty not complaining." She said sitting back and closing her eyes, I grunted and tried to reposition myself as best as possible with my seven month bump.

"Can we go home after this? Please? I'm tired." I whined, not caring that we had only been out for a few hours, but the ridiculous errands that this woman was having us run were driving me crazy.

"Sure..." She muttered, blowing on the wet paint as my hair oven beeped, allowing me to remove my head.

"Would you like it styled?" The woman asked, I went to protest until my blonde idiot answered for me.

"Sure! She'd love that!" She cried, making me grunt.

"Come on Regina! It's your last day entirely for you until the baby! Enjoy it!" She said walking to my side while the hairdresser began to blow dry my long locks, which now seemed healthier from the baby.

"I like it." Emma remarked, my black hair was layered and had lighter highlights mixed in with the deep brown.

"Thanks." I muttered, watching them pin the upper half up, leaving the bottom half in large ringlets.

"Why don't I do your makeup!" A beautician cried, immediately applying layers of it on my face.

"Wha- why! I'm just running errands!" I cried, but Emma remained silent as the women worked on me.

They finally finished and I felt like a different person. I quickly thanked the ladies and gripped Emma's wrist heavily to stand, my other hand gripping my lower back to ease the soreness.

"Now we can avoid another errand if you just try this dress on for my mom, she got it for you and wanted to know if it fits, and if it does you can just wear it out, but if it doesn't we have to return it." Emma said handing me the loose peach dress, I sighed and figured that arguing would be pointless, so just sighed and trudged into the bathroom and removed my smock and discarded it, slipping the comfortable dress on, smiling as it complemented the curves that I had managed to keep if the eye wasn't focused on my protruding stomach.

The soft and stretchy material spanned my body and overlapped into a v-neck, the waist cinching above my round stomach.

"Thank god." I muttered, smiling that the damn dress fit and I could go home.

"Ready?" Emma said smiling nervously, I nodded and followed her out to the yellow bug and climbed inside, relaxing as I imagined my quiet afternoon, my heart sinking as I thought about my failed attempt to talk with Henry.

"Hey, don't act so glum, perk up." Emma demanded, pulling up to my mansion, I sighed and got out, giving her a trying smile before both of us made our way up the steps.

I unlocked the door and looked over at the blonde who was now wearing a different dress than the one in the hair dressers.

I began to enter as my head began to spin, trying to piece my afternoon together when the lights switched on.

"Surprise!" A mass of women shouted, making me shriek and jump back into my friend.

"Crap!" I screamed, my heart hammering as they all lightly chuckled, Snow, Alena and my sister stepped forward and individually hugged me, causing tears to naturally spring.
