Like I can't even. It was so good I loved it (especially cause we saw it in 3D).

Sorry bout not updating, if you want an explanation as to why I posted it on my message board so I didn't have a long author's note.

Cody's Pov
It was the beginning of the party. So far, not many people had arrived. Then again, they understood a lot of people would be spending time with relatives, and they honestly couldn't blame them.
They had spent a quarter of their day setting it all up, double checking (and possibly even triple checking) just to make sure nothing would go wrong before actually starting their Christmas Eve.
"MATT!" "What?" "Where the fuck is my Santa hat?". This year, they decided to compete in a 'who can be the most festive' contest. Mostly because of the reactions they would get, but also to prove they're more festive than one another, after a smug comment Mark had made that morning.
"I don't know" Matt screamed, putting on a pair of bright reindeer antlers as he lit up his terrible red Christmas tree Christmas sweater.
Thankfully, as their good friends Bob, Wade,  Mandy, and Molly arrived, they were ready and fully prepared for anything possible.
Starting off their holiday with a good long chat full of shits and giggles, they catch up on each other's life as they waited for more to arrive.
Anyone who had confirmed their arrival knew of what monumental moment would occur later in the day, and somehow were able to keep it between only them, instead of letting Matt know.
And soon enough, old friends, new friends and the RoomMates were gathered in the living room, playing competitive games.
"Jack you so cheated!" "Did not, prove it!". Mark sighed, "We all just saw you cheat!". "Yeah" "SHUT UP WADE!" Mark gave him a look that said 'fess up' and Jack gave in with a giggle, which Mark found quite adorable (not to even get started on the fact that his Christmas sweater and Santa hat made it a thousand times cuter). Saying "okay fine I cheated" "HAH!". Mark's dance made him laugh, rolling his eyes at his competitiveness.
They were playing a very serious game of jenga. And by very serious, i mean a game in which a bunch of idiots are gathered around a table acting like ten year olds while they make stupid jokes, which to them was very serious.
Meanwhile. Ryan was setting up all he had planned for later tonight. And with a distracting board game and festive Christmas music being sung and played, it was easier than expected to do it without complications.
Sadly, they were bored of it fairly quickly. [ha ha...that joke was almost PUNishing]. Ending up with Mark and Jack debating who actually won while the few guests stayed over by the countertop full of snacks.
Thankfully, before it could get any more boring and or awkward, Ry came downstairs with a microphone in hand. Covering up the fact that he was upstairs for a pretty long amount of time by turning off the music.
"Alright you motherfuckers, it's time to have a Christmas karaoke contest". Some clapped excitedly in response, while others just kept eating the sweets and snacks (ahem, JACK), but ended up gathering in the living room.
"Who wants the mic first?". Jack and Mark immediately raised their hands.
"Okay, well since thank you both wanna do it do you want to do a duet?" "Sure" "why not" they say. Getting up and getting everything set up, deciding to do baby it's cold outside. [honestly baby it's cold outside is my favorite Christmas song. It's just so lovely and it's so nice to listen to].
The two sang staring into each other's eyes with warm smiles on their faces as an orange glow lit up the room. Jack of course got the female part while Mark got the male. "I really can't stay~" "baby it's cold outside" "I have to go 'way~" "baby it's cold outside" "this evening has been-" "been hoping that you'd drop in" "-so very nice" "I'll hold your hand they're just like ice" they sounded so wonderful. Well, when Felix's fangirling wasn't louder than their singing, that is.
And after everyone had sung a festive song they ended up eating a bunch of food, cleaning it up and playing a couple more weird games before telling their guests goodbye and once again dispersing throughout the house.
Well, that's what Matt thought had happened. In reality, as him and Ryan ended up outside, the others were above them on the balcony, readying the plan they had created oh-so carefully. And it was too late for Ry to back out now.
