"Alright what have we got?" I asked as I jogged into the pit followed by 3 interns

"Frankie Davis, 35 year old male, broken femur, tibia and 4 broken ribs. He's also suffering from a pneumothorax. We've called in an ortho specialist to help you out on this one but this man needs to get to an OR now. Ortho will be here within the hour, just work on the collapsed lung until then" Dr Hunt informed me

We began moving the man towards the elevator, taking him up to the OR floor.

"Mr Davis, my name is Dr Quinn and I'll be operating on you today, just hang on for me ok?" I said, trying to calm him down as we left the elevator

The interns brought him into the OR to be prepped by the anesthesiologist. I scrubbed in and entered the OR.

"Alright everyone, it's a beautiful day to save lives, lets have some fun" I said reassuringly, I always loved saying this. It reminded me of Derek and his enthusiasm and love for the OR

I began working to drain the fluid from Frankie's lungs as I repaired the puncture wound that had pierced the upper right quadrant of his lung. I heard the door from the scrub room slide open but I paid no attention as I worked swiftly and efficiently to patch up this guy.

"Good afternoon Doctor Quinn" I heard an unfamiliar voice echo through the room

I looked up at the stranger, trying to place the face I so vaguely remembered

"I'm Doctor Torres, I'm here for the ortho consult" she informed me and suddenly it dawned on me

"Callie?" the whisper hardly audible through my mask

"It's nice to finally meet you Jamie. I've heard so much about you" Callie smirked before putting on her surgical mask and approaching the table

I entered the cafeteria looking for Jamie. I knew she had just finished a surgery and I was hoping to find her here. My eyes scanned the room and they landed on my wife. But she wasn't alone. My heart dropped when I saw the brunette who accompanied her. My wife and my ex wife eating lunch? This wasn't going to end well.

"Hi guys" I tried my best to smile

"Hey Arizona" Callie greeted me

"Hey babe" Jamie mumbled through her sandwich, ladylike as ever

"Callie, I didn't know you were in town" I said surprised as I sat down beside Jamie

"I was just in Georgetown for a consult when Owen called saying he needed an orthopedic surgeon and that it was an emergency" Callie explained

"Hey babe" Jamie interrupted "Callie was just telling me about the time you two "camped" in Derek's camper van" she laughed

I nodded with a smile in Jamie's direction. Unsure how I felt about Callie talking to Jamie about our past. Although, the two didn't look like they were about to rip each other's throats out, they actually looked like they were enjoying each others company.

"Alright, well Callie, it was great to finally meet you. I've got some rounds to do but if you're sticking around for the night the three of us should go for drinks later" Jamie offered

"Sounds good to me Quinn" Callie replied enthusiastically

"Awesome, see you later" Jamie gave a small wave before leaning down and placing a kiss on my cheek

I noticed Callie turn away and I couldn't help but feel my relationship with Jamie bothered her. Even though she had Penny.

"What the hell are you thinking?" I spat, once Jamie had left

"What do you mean? I'm here for a surgery Arizona. I didn't come to spy on you" Callie said sternly

"I don't give a damn why you're here Callie, just stay the hell away from my wife" I said through gritted teeth

"Arizona I just had a 6 hour surgery with her, I wasn't just going to ignore the woman!" Callie raised her voice

I stood up from the table, deciding I had enough of this. I walked away and out into the hall but I was quickly followed by Callie.

"Arizona don't just walk away" she growled

"Oh but you can Callie? Is that it? You can just up and leave and turn our whole life upside down but the minute I'm happy you want to come back and have a snoop around! Is my wife not good enough for our daughter to have in her life?" I began accusing her

"This has nothing got to do without Sofia! Why would you even bring her into this?" Callie fought back

"Oh don't change the subject Callie! Running was easy for you, you always took the easy way out! When I was in the plane crash you took up your stupid little project with Derek, when I lost the baby you threw yourself into your cartilage growth, when I needed you the most you were never there!" I screamed at her, oblivious to the people who could hear

"I did those things for you!" She yelled "That project with Derek, that was for you! I wanted to help you walk again"

"Don't act like a martyr Callie! The minute things got hard you flew across the country for her!" I spat

"I love Penny, just like you love Jamie! You moved on too Arizona, don't you dare act like I'm the only bad guy in this!" she calmed her tone a little now

"She saved me" my voice was shaky now "You didn't stick around to see the damage you caused to my life! You took the only thing that mattered to me, the only person that made me want to wake up in the morning! You took my daughter away from me and you destroyed me! I was a borderline alcoholic, I stopped doing what I love, I gave up! I was on the verge of making sure I never saw another morning and she saved me! Jamie is the only person who cared enough to pull me out of the mess you made!" I felt the tears sting at my eyes "So screw you Callie Torres" I spat with venom as I turned and walked away

*Jamie's P.O.V*

I had just left the Resident's locker room when a familiar figure approached me.

"Hey Jamie" Callie said timidly

"Hey, you ready to go to Joe's?" I asked, trying to pretend like I didn't hear every word that was said between her and Arizona earlier. The pair were so caught up in their argument they didn't realize I was standing just down the hall

"Actually I'm going to have to take a rain check on that Quinn. My patient in Georgetown just took a turn for the worst so I need to be getting back. But it was nice to finally meet you" she smiled, holding out her hand

I reciprocated the handshake and before letting go I leaned in closer to her until my lips were at her ear

"If you ever hurt Arizona like that again you can forget about walking back through those doors you hear me? You've caused enough damage, I don't want to have to do something I'll regret" I growled threateningly into her ear before letting go of her hand

She searched my eyes in silence, realizing I was completely serious. She simply nodded and turned her back and walked away. And that was the last I'd ever see of Callie Torres.
