** One Week After The Honeymoon**
"Hey Arizona, I'm heading to LA this weekend for a night. I just got a phone call from a friend from med school. He's just back from Taiwan and I haven't seen him in almost 4 years" I said entering the kitchen that morning
"Yeah sure babe, do you want me to go with you?" she asked sweetly as she turned to me with a plate of toast
"We're just going to catch up with some old college friends, nothing too exciting, besides Sophia's coming to visit for the weekend isn't she?" I said, trying to divert her attention
"Oh shoot, I almost forgot!" she said, sitting down beside me
"It'll give you guys a chance to catch up! It's been so long since you've seen her" I smiled, kissing her cheek softly
"I wanted you to be here when she's here though, you're just as much a part of her life now as Callie and I" Arizona said with a slight pout
"I'll be back Sunday afternoon, we can spend the evening together, go to the movies or something" I smiled, compromising
"Perfect" she beamed
"Just like you" I whispered as I kissed her lips softly, watching as her cheeks turned bright red
"Jamie" she giggled
"What? Gotta treat my wife right, don't I?" I smirked as I stood up from the table
She laughed as I walked out of the kitchen. I couldn't wipe the smile from my face, she was just too perfect. Everything about our honeymoon was flawless and went by way too fast! I walked into our bedroom and began packing for LA. I was flying out tomorrow morning.

I landed at LAX Saturday morning and grabbed a cab to my hotel. As soon as I was unpacked I took another cab from the hotel to a building just by the sea, the sun was beaming down and the waves crashed against the rocks that stood just a few feet from the building. I stood in the shadow of the looming building as I looked up at the sign across the front.
Oceanside Health and Wellness Group
I made my way inside and was greeted by a fresh faced teenager who looked like he should have been surfing the waves and not sitting behind a desk.
"Hi, can I help you?" he gave a brilliant smile
"Hi, em, I'm looking for Addison Montgomery" I said politely
"Are you scheduled for an appointment?" he asked
"Yes, my name is-" I started
"Jamie?" I heard a familiar voice from behind me
"Adi!" I said in excitement as I turned to face her, striding across the hall to meet her embrace as we gave each other a tight hug
"It's so good to see you Quinn" she beamed
"It's been too long Adi" I grinned "I'm so sorry I didn't come visit after Derek's death, just things have been a little crazy you know" I hung my head
"Hey, don't worry about it kid. Come on, let's go to my office" she smiled as she led me down the hall and into a cosy little office.
"So, how are you?" I asked considerately
"I'm good. Of course it was hard hearing about Derek but I moved on a long time ago, when I moved to LA it was like I had already said my last goodbye." she admitted "How about you? Heard you're a big shot in Grey-Sloan" she joked
"I'm still just a resident Adi, nothing special" I laughed "But I did just get married" I grinned
"What? No way! You and Arizona finally tied the knot?" she said excitedly
"Yep" I nodded proudly
"Aw congrats Jay, I'm so happy for you" she said sincerely as she hugged me "Is Arizona here with you?"
"No, um, she's got Sophia this weekend, plus I kinda didn't tell her I was coming to see you" I admitted
"Why?" she asked confused
"Addison I want you to help me get pregnant" I finally told her the reason I was here "But I want to surprise Arizona"
"Ah" she nodded as realization set in "I see"
You see Addison and I have known each other for quite some time now. 15 years to be exact. She worked in the hospital in New York near our home. When my mother got sick I was in and out of that hospital every single day. I passed Addison's office every day on the way to see my mother and over time she became almost like a second mother, and when my mom died she was there to hold my hand through it all. I didn't know Derek at the time, she never mentioned her own life but she was always there for me and we kept in contact over the years through my time in med school.
"You think you can help me out?" I asked
"Of course I can Jamie, I'm glad you came to me" she gave a warm smile "We just need to run some tests first"

**Present Day**
"We're having a baby?" Arizona stared at me in shock as we stood in the center of our living room floor
"We're having a baby" I nodded as I looked at her with tears in my eyes
"Jamie" she breathed as she too became emotional
She ran towards me and took me into a crippling hug.
"I love you so much" she sobbed into my neck "Wait, how?" she stood back and looked at me questioningly
"Don't worry" I laughed "No secret baby daddy here. Remember that weekend I went to LA to see Peter?"
"Mhm" she nodded
"Well I was actually going to see Addison Montgomery. We've spoken so much about kids and I knew the type of man you'd want as a sperm donor so I decided to surprise you. I didn't know if it would actually work but lately the morning sickness has started up so I went out and got a pregnancy test this morning and well, we're having a baby" I beamed
"Jamie" she squealed as she hugged me again "We're going to be mommies"
"Yeah, we are" I laughed at her excitement as I pulled her from the hug and held onto her shoulders "You know you're the love of my life right?"
"So I've heard" she smiled lovingly
"I cannot wait to have our baby" I said, letting the thought sink in
I placed my hands on either side of her face as I pulled her in for a slow, lingering kiss.
