Chapter 7.2

-Jade's POV-

"How is she?" I held my breath while looking at the doctor intensely.

"She just collapsed a while ago because of shock. But aside from that, she's doing just fine." I felt so relieved upon hearing it that I could almost hug hin.

"Good then. Thanks."

"No problem, Mr. Shiwon. Anyway, she's awake now so you can go inside." I nodded. Though my whole body still hurts like hell, I want to see her. The moment I realized we were both at the hospital, I immediately thought of her. I don't even care how badly I was beaten. I just had to see she's safe.

She was staring blankly at the wall when I entered her room. As always, looking stupid.

"Babe." I said loudly to snap her out of her retarted thoughts.

"H-Huh?" She looks at my direction. "Oh, hey. Waeyo? (Why?)"

I limped towards her and flinched when I finally relaxed myself at the chair beside her bed.

I immediately checked her from head to toe. "Are you okay?"

"Y-Yes. Ikaw?" She asked, worried. I nod curtly. I might hurt my neck if I move it hastily. Damn it! I will make sure that stupid Reyon will pay for this! "Just a few bruises on my stomach and some..."

"Ang ewan mo kasi! Bakit hindi ka lumaban! Ano bang iniisip mo?!" I was taken aback when she suddenly yelled at attacked me. "Duwag ka ba ha? Bakit hindi ka gumanti?! Paano kung napatay ka nila?! Paano kung hindi dumating sila Kelsey!? Why didn't you fight back?" She keeps hitting me on my chest. Good thing it wasn't a bruised part. "Nakakainis ka! Sobra mo akong pinag-alala! Ahh, kainis! Kung hindi lang kita..." She stops mid-sentence with her eyes widened.

"Sobra mo akong pinag-alala!"

I can feel it again. My stupid heart is beating so fast! Chelsey, this is your fault!

"Tss. Annoying gangster." She whispers but just enough for me to hear.

"What did you say?" I cocked an eyebrow at her.

"Wala! Bakit ka ba nandito?" She slumped on her hospital bed again with arms crossed on her chest.

"Isn't it obvious? I'm visiting my reckless girlfriend. Eh ikaw, why are you here?" I teased.

"Unggoy! Kasi wala ako doon!" She even stuck her tongue out at me. How childish!

"Tss." I mentally rolled my eyes.

"Ano pala ang sabi ng doctor? Bakit kailangan pa akong dalihin dito? Wala naman akong galos. I'm not even hurt." Chelsey stretched her arms to emphasize what she said.

"Because you are completely retarted. That's why."

She rolled her eyes at me. "You're the lord of retards. Don't forget that."

"Oh, well." I shrugged. "May sakit ka raw and it's severe already. So you're dying in 5 seconds. Goodbye, babe."

She rolled her eyes again. Damn she has talented eyeballs. "Sakit ka dyan! Wala akong sakit. Buhay na buhay at malakas pa ako!"

"Are you certain?" I asked seriously.

She gave me a questioning look. "Yes."

"And why?"

"I can feel it."
