"Just knock already, sis!" Marahas akong bumuntong-hininga at tinignan ng masama si Oppa na nasa likuran ko.

"Pwede ba, Oppa? Kinakabahan nga kasi ako! I just need to breathe for a while... What the! Oppa, don't!" But my plea was too late when I heard the sound of the doorbell. Hinampas ko siya.

"Why did you do that? Oh my gosh! What do we do now?" Nataranta ako at nagtago sa likuran ni Oppa habang pinaghahampas ko pa rin siya. Kasi naman eh!

"What the hell are you doing there, young lady?" My brother snarled and I pout.

"Hindi pa ata ako ready, Oppa. Let's just go back to the Philippines!" I bit my lower lip as I think. Maybe it's not yet time. Tama! Babalik nalang ako next month... or next year. I don't know!

"Ganyan mo ba planong harapin ang boyfriend mo?" Napalunok ako. Boyfriend. Kung dati ay parang normal lang na salita ito para sa akin at kay Alecson, ngayon ang bigat nang pakinggan. Hindi ako nakasagot sa kanya. Tinitigan ko ang mga luggage ko na nasa harapan ng kotse. Should I go now? Run away and never see him again? The door creaked. Heto na! This is it! This is really is it is it na talaga! Sabi nga ni Kim Chui. I braced myself as I wait for the moment of truth... Sinasabayan ng malakas na tibok ng puso ko ang sari-saring memorya ng nakaraan.

"S-Sam?" My eyes widen in shock. Bakit siya ang nagbukas ng pintuan? Lalaki ang boses na narinig ko kanina. And most especially, bakit siya nandito... bahay ni Jade Alecson? Ng boyfriend ko?!

"Chelsey girl!!! How are you?" Tulala ako habang nakangiti siya sa akin. "Hey!" She waved a hand at me but I was still in awe. Hindi ko alam kung bakit nanigas ako sa kinatatayuan ko.

"Hi, Samantha. Forgive my sister's reaction, miss niya kasi si Jade Alecson." He patted my head. "Anyways, where is he?" Si Kuya na ang nagsalita para sa akin. Para bang nawala ako sa pag-iisip at humina ang pagtibok ng puso ko. Bakit nandito si Samantha? Magkasama ba sila si Jade sa iisang bahay? Nakakinis talaga 'yun! Humanda siya. Hmp!

"Ah! Si Jade ba ang sadya niyo? Then why did you go here?" Doon ako nakabalik sa huwisyo.

"What do you mean?" Kunot-noong tanong ko sa kanya. I also look at my brother. Mukhang nagtataka din siya.

756 **... Then I checked the message in my phone. Tama naman! Ito ang address na binigay sa amin. So why is she saying otherwise?!

"Are you kidding me? This is the address given to us. I'm pretty sure this is the right place. Nasaan siya?" Hindi ko alam kung saan ako kumuha ng lakas ng loob para sabihin iyon sa kanya. I just really need to see and talk to him and whatever the outcome of our meeting, I would face and accept bravely.
