(Fast forward. Current date, February 18)

"Babe, I already told you that I don't have to write my notes." I rolled my eyes at Jade. Padabog kong nilapag ang notebook namin at ballpen sa lamesa.

"Jade Alecson, hindi porke anak ka ng may-ari ng University natin ay hindi ka na required na magsulat ng notes. Paano kung hindi nila pirmahan ang clearance mo? Graduating ka pa naman." I snarled at him. Nakapamewang na din ako. Ang kulit naman kasi ng lalaking ito. Paano kasi ayaw niyang magsulat ng notes. Isa sa requirement para pirhmahan ang clearance namin ay ang mga notebooks na naglalaman ng past lessons namin.

"Babe, that's why there's no need for me to pass any requirements to anyone. Like you said, I am the son of the owner of this school so no worries! Hakuna matata!" He spread his arms wide at pinatong ang magkabilang binti sa ibabaw ng upuan na nasa unahan niya. I sighed in defeat. Silly and hard headed gangster.

"Fine. But don't blame me if otherwise happens."

"I won't. I didn't blame you for anything before. And I will never. You know that, babe. I would take all the cargo for you if I had to." He winks. And I had to turn my back at him to hide my blushing face. Sa tagal naming magkasama ni Alecson, bakit hindi pa din ako immune sa panlalandi niya? I thought.

"Oh come on, babe. I know you're probably blushing right now. Don't be shy. Look at me. I love it when you blush. It makes you look more like a cute little piglet." I heard his laugh from behind. I turned around and was caught off guard. I didn't realize he was standing so near to me. Not to mention, inside my personal bubble! He was too close. And I can smell his luring and addicting scent again. I cursed in my mind. How come he smells so good? I groaned and he chuckled. I look up to him only to find him staring at me intently. At kahit na sobrang bilis na ng tibok ng puso ko ngayon, tinarayan ko lang siya. Jeez, I hope he wouldn't feel or hear the fast beating of my heart. I doubt it tho. Sa sobrang lapit niya, siguradong ramdam niya iyon. He suddenly smile.

"W-What's with the smile, creeper?" I teased. But inside, his smile gives me butterflies.

"I'm just happy that you're still mine." He said genuinely. Natulala ako for a second. He amused me.

"I... Of course Alecson. Always." I murmured under my breath. He smile widely and I can't help but to do the same. I'm so happy too, Jade Alecson. We continue to stare and smile at each other not until the ringing of his phone interrupted us. He fished it out of his pocket and I saw his eyebrows creased as he look at his phone. Tatanungin ko sana kung sino ang tumatawag but I didn't get the chance.

"Give me a sec." Alecson excused himself and kissed my forehead before leaving me alone inside the gang's room. Nandito kami ngayon sa private room ng gang sa school, supposedly to finish our requirements. But I think I'll have to do it by myself since mukhang important call iyon at hindi din naman gagawa si Alecson. Who could've called him that he looked so serious? Napaisip ako. But again, over thinking will do no good to me.

"I trust him." I muttered to myself. So I decided to shrug it off. Umupo na lamang ako sa napakalambot na sofa and started to sort the things I needed to do.

It took only five minutes when Alecson returned inside and started putting his notebooks back to his backpack and grabbed his car keys. He looks like he's in a hurry.
