Glenn is kissing me with such a gentleness I have never known. It's all I ever wanted. And more.
When our faces break apart, he just looks at me and smiles shyly.
"I'm sorry. I just couldn't-" He begins to say, but I interrupt him with another kiss.
"There's nothing to apologize for." I say.
When Glenn drops me off at home, he walks me to the front door. All the lights are off inside, everyone must be asleep.
"I had such a beautiful night, Glenn. Thank you. For everything."
"Don't mention it. I had a really awesome time with you. We should most definitely get together again." He says.
"Yeah, for sure."
"All right. Goodnight. Have sweet dreams." He kisses me again.
"Goodnight."
"Hey, Mags? Does this mean we're....you know...boyfriend and girlfriend?" He asks me all bashful.
"Well, I just don't know. Hmmm. What do you think, pizza boy?" I say playfully.
"Yes. Yes, we are." He says, smiling.
"Right answer. Bye." I say, laughing.
"Good bye."
I open the front door and go inside the house. When I close the door, I lean back against it and smile. I can hear him drive away. And I can still feel his magic.
