14 YEARS LATER

"It's so beautiful!" Maggie says, looking at the Roman Coliseum.
"So ancient. I love it." I say. "What do you think, Robb?" I ask our 7 year old son. He's wearing my old baseball cap. It's big on him, but he doesn't care.
"Awesome! It's huge!" He says, looking up at the structure with amazement.
"What did they use it for?" He asks his mom.
"They used to have gladiators fight to the death in there. Whoever wins, gets their freedom. Cool, huh?" She says.
"So cool." Robb says.
"Already teaching our son to love bloodshed, are you?" I say to Maggie, laughing. Then I hold her hand.
"Says the man who wanted to name him after Robb Stark from Game of Thrones. The King of the North." She says, kissing me.
"I'm the King of the North! King of the North! King of the North!" Robb cheers happily.
"Yes, you are buddy." I say, laughing. "Look at what you created." I say to Maggie.
"Hey, don't look at me. He gets that from you." She says.
"Yeah, sure. Blame me." I say, jokingly.I hold Robb and Maggie's hand as we walk. I feel like we are links to a chain. A chain that is as strong as steel. It gets its strength from our love. It's an unbreakable bond.
