The next day, Vale was abuzz with activity as they prepared for the vytal festival, and team NIKL decided to eat breakfast out today, Isaac has a lemon pastry and lemonade, Nina has a sausage biscuit and a soda, Kayla has an omelet and some iced tea, and Leon didn't eat. But suddenly, their breakfast is cut short when they saw a monkey faunus run down the street past them.
Isaac: Why's he in such a hurry?
Two police officers run by.
Isaac: Oh.
Then team RWBY runs past
Nina: Now they're a part of this too, i gotta see this!
Nina gets up and goes after them.
Isaac: Not without me you aren't! *follows*
Kayla: Hey, wait up!
Kayla then follows while Leon silently does so as well. The chase eventually leads everyone to a small marketplace, Weiss falls over and the monkey faunus escapes.
Weiss: No, he got away!
Yang: Uh, Weiss.
Yang indicates Weiss hit some lady, which causes Weiss to hastily stand up.
???: Salutations!
Ruby: Um... Hello.
Yang: Are you... Ok?
???: I'm wonderful, thank you for asking.
Yang: Do you.. Wanna get up?
???: Yes.
She stand up and everyone steps back.
Isaac: Who are you exactly?
Penny: My name is Penny, it's a pleasure to meet you.
Ruby: Hi Penny, I'm Ruby.
Weiss: I'm Weiss.
Blake: Blake.
Yang: Are you sure you didn't hit your head?
Blake hits Yang in the side
Yang: Oh, I'm Yang.
Kayla: I'm Kayla.
Isaac: I'm Isaac.
Nina: Nina.
Leon: And i'm Leon.
Penny: It's a pleasure to meet you!
Weiss: You already said that.
Penny: So I did.
Isaac: And I thought Nora was little miss sunshine, I stand corrected.
Leon: Agreed.
Weiss: Anyway, sorry for running into you.
Ruby: Take care friend.
Everyone leaves Penny.
Yang: She was... Weird.
Weiss: Now, where did that faunus riffraff run off to?
Isaac prepares to respond but they run into Penny.
Penny: What did you call me?
Yang: Oh, I'm really sorry, I definitely didn't think you heard me.
Penny: No, not you. *walks over to Ruby* You
Ruby: Me? I-I don't know, I-- what I-- um, uh--.
Penny: You called me "friend", am I really your friend?
