Basti was sitting on the floor across from Iris as they chatted about The Love Team's latest event. He caught a glimpse at the clock on the wall and cringe when he saw that it read 2:30 am.

"Love, kaylangan ko na matulog." Basti stated.

Iris looked a little surprised. "Ha? Bakit? Wala pa naman tayong event bukas." Iris responded as she looked up at her husband. "You don't have to be anywhere do you?"

"No, but my alarm will go off in about 4 hours." Basti complained.

Iris gave him a questioning look before realizing what Basti was talking about. She giggled.

Basti sighed and said his good night as he climbed to their bed.

"DADDY!" Six year old Penelpe shouted as she jumped up onto her parent's bed, "GISING KA NA BA?"
Basti rolled over in his sleep, "I am now."

Penelope grinned, "Good, do you want to go play with me until Mom gets up and makes breakfast?"

"Get off me first, Penny." mumbled.

Penny jumped off of Basti's bed and Basti sat up, rubbing his eyes. He took a glance at his watch and read 6:46 am. "So anong gusto mong laro, alarm clock ko?"

"Pwede mo ba ko turuan nung nilalaro niyo ni Ninong Ali?" Penny asked.

Basti smiled, "Sure, let's go downstairs para di natin magising sina Mommy, Kuya Jason at Baby Selene, okay?"

Penny squealed and ran out of the room, with Basti following at a slower pace. He may complain to Iris about his alarm clock every day, but Basti secretly liked the time he was able to spend with his daughter while everyone else was asleep.
