Protective Apollo (TIMY AU)

i just miss TIMY. lol.

He closed his eyes at the scene. He did not want to see his little-- she's still his little sister even if she's only 4 minutes younger--sister kissing some random guy in their front porch.

But he had already seen it, and it drives him nuts. He just wants to storm outside and pry the idiot's hands off his sister, but he mastered his urge. He knew his sister wouldn't appreciate him being all protective.

So he waited inside. When their door opened, he tried to arrange his face into a nonchalant expression. Her sister was grinning from ear to ear when she entered, and it annoyed Apollo to no end.

"So, how's your date?" He asked in a mild teasing voice, though inside he really didn't find anything funny.

It wasn't like he didn't want his sister happy. But all these years it's always been just the two of them. They were twins and they were best friends. Hera had always been dependent and a bit hard headed just like their mom, but she'd never hesitated on asking for his help or leaning on him.

She difn't mind showing him her weak moments, right until high school. He guessed it was natural. They were twins but she was still a girl and maybe there are things she'd rather talked about with Rebecca (Tita Kelly's daughter) than him.

But he missed talking to her like the old times, he missed her being very open to him, telling him all her secrets.

Hera bit her lip to keep from smiling. She didn't want her brother teasing her.

"It was fine." She said offhandedly.

There was a pause.

"So..." Apollo said awkwardly. "You like him?" He asked. "I don't need to, like, kill him?" He asked sincerely.

Hera couldn't help but laugh at the serious face of her brother. She laughed harder when he grimaced.

"No." She said. "You don't have to kill him." She said, and proceeded upstairs, leaving her brother.

Apollo stared at the grinning face of his little sister as she ran up to her room.

He thought he just might kill the guy. And he's definitely telling his dad what just happened.
