It wasn't his first kiss. And he was sure it wasn't her first, either.

But it was their first kiss.

It was for their movie, and yeah, it wasn't in the script and it's around 3AM and they just woke up so they weren't really prepared but...

he just can't understand why his heart is pounding right now.

'It's just a kiss, James.' He tries to tell himself. 'It's just Nadine.'

Still, up to the very last second till their lips met, he was so nervous.

Somehow... it just felt like this would change everything.

But they did kiss, and it was a bit awkward at first. But they had to do it a few more times till Direk was satisfied.

And him and Nadine were the same. and James thought himself silly.

But in a few years, he'd realized that nothing changed then because something has started changing the moment they met. Back in that workshop, in that elevator... the moment he chose her as his leading lady.

The fates had already started weaving then.
