By the time Artem got back into Saint Michael's, Ravil seemed to have fallen asleep entirely. He put Ravil into the bed they shared and then went to go find Leopold.
Leopold was in the library, thumbing through what appeared to be an old dictionary.
"Where the hell were you ten minutes ago?" Artem barked.
Leopold pivoted suddenly in response. "What?"
"Where were you ten minutes ago?" Artem repeated. "Some security you've got around here!"
Leopold set the dictionary down on the nearest table. "What happened?"
"We were attacked. How many times, now, does this make?" Artem challenged. "Four? Well, I guess it doesn't matter so much to you. Some FSB guy walked up and said the words, Ravil jumped up, pointed a gun at me, and he's about to fire, but I push him and he shoots the FSB guy instead, then Hilarion shows up- my father. I was about to shoot him, but he left."
"Where's Ravil?" Leopold asked, trepidation quivering ever so slightly in his voice.
A screech split the air.
Artem flinched, eyes flashing, then turned and ran out of the library. "Just follow me!"
