Leopold opened the door to Ravil's current cell. "Look."
"Th-that's President Takar-" stammered the young man standing next to Leopold. He had an impressive, tall stature, with blond hair and blue eyes that caught the light perfectly.
"Shh!" Leopold hissed. "If you tell anyone about this, I will have you killed! This is strictly confidential. Don't even tell that Ivan boy."
The taller man furrowed his brow. "Okay. So what do I do?"
"Did they train you to handle sleeper agents?" Leopold queried.
The taller man nodded.
"Your job is to make sure he's monitored at all times," Leopold explained. "You'll be his handler for the next few months. Ensure he has no contact with the outside world, and ensure there's no way he can escape. Now, Dimitri, he has a borderline genius IQ, and he's known for sabotage and worming his way out of situations like these. Make sure he knows he's disposable. If he tries anything, torture him. Then call me, and I'll tell you whether or not to kill him. Sure, he might be an asset, but we have the time and funds to make a spy that will be more...cooperative."
Dimitri nodded again. "Yes, sir."
"Are we clear?" Leopold narrowed his gaze as Ravil glanced vacantly up at them through the window of the cell.
"Yes, sir," Dimitri said again.
"Very good." Leopold's round glasses flashed, and a smirk tugged at the corner of his lips.
