Ivan was still watching the live feed. He searched the crowds of swarming military men for Dimitri, but all of them looked the same in their black helmets and bulletproof armor.
A knock at the door. Ivan nearly fell out of his chair.
Standing, and with a pounding heart, he approached the door and opened it.
"Ivan?" asked a young, dark-haired man that Ivan recognized as being Elisha Korovin, a fellow FSB operative. "Coffee machine is out again."
"You could've just called me," Ivan replied shakily.
Elisha stepped into the office, slammed the door shut, pushing Ivan against the wall.
"Listen to me, Ivan Bocharov," Elisha growled, brown eyes flashing.
Ivan squirmed. Elisha pinned his hands against the wall.
"Get away from me," Ivan's voice trembled. Dimitri was the only one allowed to pin him against a wall like this.
"You might be smart, Ivan, but you sure as hell aren't very strong," Elisha blinked. "Stop your squirming, will you?"
Ivan shook his head.
"Fine, then." Elisha smirked and aimed a swift punch to Ivan's temple, knocking him out.
