Chapter 26

Emily's POV*

My parents still had no idea I was pregnant and after the last conversation I'd had with my mother I was in no hurry to speak to her again. Instead I got out my phone and sent her a text...

*dont worry about the pictures, they had nothing to do with Liam. The boys' show is going to be live tonight so make sure you watch it, there's something important that you need to watch, love you*

We had a about four hours until the show started but we needed to leave an hour earlier than usual to make sure everything was all good for the live show so I started getting ready.

My bruises were still very clear but the dark purple that had originally covered the side of my body was now fading slightly, leaving a light yellow ring around the darker area of the bruise.

Since I was going to be watched tonight by millions of people I needed to look nice.

To cover my bruises I put on my gold floor length dress. It was covered in sequins and was backless but still covered my sides. It was fairly fitted and felt a bit tighter than the last time I ha worn it due to the fact that I now had two small people inside me. I curled my hair and did my makeup and put on black shoes that had a small heel. I put my leather jacket on for the meantime so I didn't get cold on the way to the arena.

By the time I had finished getting ready and received a handful of compliments from the boys, it was time to leave.

We got to the arena and the boys did all their sound checks and stuff and them went backstage to get changed and have their hair done.

"Tonight's going to be tough, a lot of people now think that I assault my fiancé, that's never a good thing for people to think", Liam said nervously about twenty minutes before they had to go on stage.

I did my best at reassuring him and got my phone out of my bag. I went on Twitter and tweeted...

"Good luck to my favourite boys with the live show tonight! Oh, and just so you know, Liam has never laid a hand on me and everyone that has said otherwise should be ashamed of themselves!! Good luck boys!! x"

I put my phone back in my bag and went to sit with Liam until he had to go on stage.

As the show went on the more nervous I became about telling everyone that I was pregnant. I knew that a lot of fans would be angry, but I knew most of them would be happy for Liam and I. I was mainly nervous about my parents finding out. My mother never replied to my text so I didn't know if she would be watching or not.

The boys performed their last song of the show and they all walked off. All of them apart from Liam.

They boys walked past me kissing me on the cheek and wishing me luck.

Liam spent a few minutes trying to calm the crowd down and when they eventually did he said into his microphone, "I'm sure that most of you know of my fiancé, Emily."

Loud cheers came from the audience and Liam continued talking, "well, firstly, I'd like to say that the information shared by most magazines today was in fact false, I would never ever hurt Emily and I want you all to know that," the crowd cheered again, "and secondly, I'd like to welcome to the stage, my beautiful fiancé!"

He held out his hand as I walked onto the stage, he leant down and kissed me as the crowd screamed and cheered yet again, there were hundreds of camera flashes amongst the crowd and I realised that Liam was a lot more used to this than I was.

"We have got something very exciting to tell you all and I hope you can all be happy for us."

He waited for the arena to fall silent before looking at me and grinning and then going on to say, "so, in about 7 months time," the crowd let out a loud screech as they realised what was coming and Liam waiting until they calmed down to finish his sentence. "In about seven months there will be two more members of the Payne family!" He finished and the crowd went crazy! I looked out and everybody that I could see was grinning and jumping up and down. I breathed out a sigh of relief and leant into Liam, wrapping my arms around him.

When everyone had settled down slightly, he bent down in front of my and kissed my small raised stomach. He then stood up and said into the microphone so that everyone could hear, "I love you Emily".

I nodded and said "I love you too", the biggest grin was spread across my face and we embraced each other in a passionate kiss, yet again, making the crowd go wild.

The rest of the boys ran back on stage and jumped on Liam, shouting into their microphones "we're going to be uncles!!!!" Making the arena even louder.

My ears were ringing from the noise but I didn't mind, I was so in love with Liam and so happy to be having a family with him.
