Emily's POV*

"Yes! Of course I will!" Eleanor squealed excitedly. I had just asked her about being my bridesmaid and she happily said yes.

It had been three weeks since we left New York and we were now at the last stop of America, LA.

I was so happy to see Eleanor and I had been lucky enough to steal her away from Louis for the day today. We went and had our nails done and we were now just finishing lunch. We had been looking at bridesmaids dresses as well, the colour scheme of the wedding was going to be white and light peach so the bridesmaids dresses were going to be peach. We had found some really pretty ones online, floor length, low backed light peach dresses with a chocolate ribbon around the waist and thick lacy straps. I was definitely enjoying planning the wedding, everything was so pretty and I got to choose pretty much everything, Liam agreed with everything I chose and I know that even if he didn't like it he wouldn't tell me, he wants me to have the wedding what ever way I want, he says that as long as he gets to marry me he doesn't mind.

Eleanor and I pay for lunch and go outside to get a taxi back to the hotel to meet the boys. So far we haven't been mobbed by any of the boys fans which was always good.

A sudden thought popped into my mind as we climbed into the taxi and I didn't have time to stop myself from asking Eleanor, "could we go and see my parents before we go back?" I knew they lived in the area and I had their address in my diary.

"Sure", she said as happily as usual.

I showed the taxi driver the address.

"Ahh, that's just round the corner, won't take five minutes", he said with his thick American accent. He was one of the most friendly taxi drivers I had ever met.

Sure enough, five minutes later we pulled up outside a house with a dark brown door and I thanked the driver and paid him and got out of the car with Eleanor behind me.

I took deep breaths as I approached the door and stood there for a few moments before plucking up the courage to knock.

"Did you tell Liam you were going to come here?", Eleanor asked me curiously, knowing that Liam most likely wouldn't be okay with me being here.

"Nope", I replied simply and she nodded understandingly.

The door swung open and my mothers surprised face greeted me.

"Emily!?", she questioned quietly.

"Hi mum", I responded, unsure of what else to say to her.

"Erm come in." She said moving aside to let us in. She glanced at Eleanor. "Eleanor isn't it?" She asked and Eleanor nodded with a smile.

"Nice to meet you", she said to my mother, I had told Eleanor about my mothers strong objection to Liam and I being together and everything else she disapproved of so I knew she was only being polite when she said this.

My mum stared at my stomach for a long period of time until she was interrupted by my dad walking into the room. He grinned when he saw me and opened his arms for a hug. I hadn't hugged my dad in about three years so it was weird doing it now. I knew he didn't feel the same way about Liam as my mother did.

"What're you doing here?", he questioned, still smiling. He exchanged a friendly handshake with Eleanor and we walked into the living room. This was the first time I'd been in this house so I was still taking it in. I noticed that there was no pictures of the three of us in the room, just one small picture of me at the age of about seven, in a small gold frame on the fireplace.

"We were just having lunch round the corner so I thought I'd pop over, is that okay?", it sounded strange asking my parents if it was okay for me to visit them but I knew how angry my mum had been at me last time we spoke and how nasty she had been.

"Of course it is!", my dad said before my mum could say anything.

She left the room when my dad started asking about the babies and the wedding. My dad seemed interested in what my life was like and we spent a while talking before Eleanor spoke, "Em, we should leave soon, the boys were expecting us half an hour ago", I looked at the time and realised she was right.

I exchanged goodbyes with my dad and went to find my mum but soon realised that she had left the house, the car was gone from the driveway so I knew she had gone out, to get away from me I assumed.

A taxi pulled up outside the house and we told the driver the name of the hotel.

Liam looked worried when we got back, I hadn't called or texted and he always assumed the worst. Relief washed over his face when he saw us walking towards him.

"I'm fine", I told him before he could ask.

"Where were you?" He asked and I really didn't want to tell him.

"Erm, well, we err-" I stuttered before Eleanor interrupted me.

"We went to her parents house", I was surprisingly grateful for her telling him, I was going to do it but I jus couldn't string a sentence together.

"Oh, was it okay?", he asked. He wasn't angry which was all I was hoping for.

"Yeah I guess, my dad clearly doesn't feel the same way as my mum does. She left before we could say goodbye", I was suddenly brought to realise that in reality, I had no relationship left with my mother.

Liam hugged me tightly and me, him, Eleanor and Louis went to get changed and ready. We were all going out for dinner, we had to wait until it was fairly late though to avoid attracting to many fans.

I had a shower and dried my hair before curling it and pinning my fringe back into a quiff. I put on one of my new dresses, it had a floral pattern and was elasticated just above my now huge bump. I put on a pair of scrappy sandals and my denim jacket and then did my makeup.

We met Louis and Eleanor who are literally the cutest couple I've ever met and we got into the car the boys had hired and drove to the restaurant.
