Chapter 51

Liam's POV*

It was four o'clock when we finally left Emily's parents house. I could see that she was sad to be leaving after how well things had gone but we had to get ready for the last show of the tour.

"It was lovely to meet you Liam, sorry for everything", her mum said giving Emily a kiss on the cheek and putting an arm around me.

"You too", I said, Emily looked distraught at the fact that we were now leaving her parents and wouldn't see them until the wedding and a thought popped into my mind, "Hey, erm, you could come to the show tonight if you want? You can keep Emily company." They had both shown great interest in the band and said they would love to see one of our shows one day, so now they had the chance. Emily's face lit up when I suggested this and her parents looked pleased too.

"That would be lovely", her mum said with a smile.

I told them to come to the hotel in two hours and we could all eat before the show. We left the house and as soon as the door was shut behind us Emily threw herself at me and squeezed me tightly.

"Em, as nice as this is, I cant breath", I said gasping for air. She chuckled and let go of me.

We got into the car and drove back to the hotel to meet the boys. When we got to the hotel the boys were all in Zayn and Harry's room along with Eleanor. Their smiles dropped when we walked into the room as if they expected something awful to have happened at Emily's parents house.

"We've got two more people for the show tonight if that's okay, my parents are coming", she said and they all looked confused. Emily told them what her mum had said and how the day had gone and they all hugged her and the smiles appeared on their faces again. We spent about an hour talking and messing around before we needed to go and get ready for the show.

I got in the shower after Emily and when I got out she was already dressed in a light pink dress a denim jacket. She was sitting at the dresser doing her makeup, humming happily. I laughed when I saw her trying to put her shoes on but failing to reach properly and went over to help her. She kissed me on the lips before hoisting herself up off of the chair and pulling her hair into a plait at the side of her head.

"You look pretty", I complimented her and she smiled. "You ready to go?"

She nodded and we got the boys and Eleanor and went downstairs into the hotel reception with our bags ready to put into the bus. We were going to the airport straight after the show and I could tell that Louis was pretty upset about having to go without Eleanor although she planned on spending the last two weeks of the tour with us so he only had to go two weeks without her.

Emily's parents pulled up outside the hotel and Emily introduced them to everyone. We all got on the bus and Emily's parents followed behind us in their car.

Emily's POV*

The boys were now on stage performing their last show in LA and I was left backstage with Eleanor and my parents. It was a lot less awkward than I had expected and my parents were currently engaged in conversation with Eleanor. I was looking out onto the stage at Liam. He turned his head and made eye contact with me, blowing me a kiss and winking at me sending the crowd into a screaming fit. I chuckled as I felt a tap on the shoulder. I turned around to see my dad.

"I'm proud of you Emily", he said as we stood side by side looking out onto the stage, "Liam seems like a lovely lad and I'm glad you're happy together, I'm just sorry that your mother and I missed so much over the past few years."

"Thank you dad, it means so much to me that we're fixing things", I explained.

He gave me a warm smile and wrapped an arm round my waist.

The show went great and the boys came off stage happy, apart from Louis. We rushed outside to the bus and I said goodbye to my parents, not being able to say it properly due to the fans that were now rushing towards us. We all clambered onto the bus and Louis looked like he was about to cry. We were dropping Eleanor at her friends house on the way to the airport and then he had a two week wait before he saw her again. We came to a stop after about twenty minutes and Eleanor started crying, making Louis cry, and making my hormonal self cry. We all said long goodbyes and Louis walked her to the door and got back on the bus five minutes later and went straight upstairs.

We got to the airport and it took ages to get through passport control. By the time we boarded the plane it was nearly midnight and we had a twenty hour flight to Australia so I cuddled up to Liam and closed my eyes. It didn't take long to fall asleep with Liam singing quietly in my ear.
