Emily's POV*
We had been at Harry's dad's place for five days now and only had two days left. I had got myself a nice tan and we were all just having a good time. It was a nice way for the boys to unwind after tour and it gave them a chance to just relax for a bit.
I woke up this morning to find that Liam wasn't next to me. I rolled out of the bed reluctantly to try and find him and realised that the house was empty, I had heard the other boys getting up earlier and they wouldn't have gone back to bed.
"Hello?", I yelled, my voice echoing through the building.
"Morning!", Eleanor chirped from behind me. She walked out of her room with her hands clasped around a mug of coffee.
"Where is everyone?", I asked and she shrugged and nodded towards a small bit of paper on the kitchen counter.
'Will be back late tonight, don't wait up, love you', I read the note aloud.
"Looks like its just us today then", I said to Eleanor and she grinned. She got up and ran into her room and came back out holding her laptop. She placed the laptop on the counter in front of us and we started looking at things for the wedding. She was kind enough to make breakfast for us both and we spent the day sitting in the garden planning things for the wedding. I loved how enthusiastic she was about the wedding, it made everything a lot easier. I knew she genuinely wanted to help, I could tell from the smile on her face when we saw something we liked and the dimples that appeared on her cheeks. I had always wanted dimples and I think I was secretly very jealous of Eleanor.
I went indoors to make us a glass of lemonade each and grab my phone. I handed Eleanor her glass and she thanked me and I checked my phone. I was surprised when I didn't have any texts from Liam. Since I had gotten pregnant he checked on me at least five times a day and most of the time I just ignored him, he was being unnecessarily wary of me and it annoyed me sometimes. I put my phone on the table next to me and returned to deliberate over the flowers for the wedding.
Liam's POV*
"Come on boys! A bit of enthusiasm would be great, you said you wanted to help!" I encouraged them as they hauled bits of furniture out of mine and Emily's house.
A few weeks ago I had ordered everything for the babies' bedroom on the internet and had it delivered to Harry's house. Today we were dedicating our time to decorating and furnishing the spare room and turning into a babies room. Harry and Zayn had gone to get all of the stuff and bring it over so Louis, Niall and myself were clearing everything out of the spare room and moving it to the garage.
"I'm trying!" Niall snapped back at me. He was in a bad mood because we had told him we didn't have time to get McDonald's for breakfast. We had left Harry's dads at five this morning and we were going to be here until late tonight no doubt.
"Where am I putting this", Louis squeezed his words out as he strained, carrying the armchair that had been in the corner of the spare room.
"Put everything in the garage, thanks Louis", I said as I lifted one end of a chest of draws with Niall huffing and puffing at the other end, trying to emphasise his bad mood. I laughed and backed out of the room and carried the draws to the garage.
An hour later, the room was empty and ready to be painted, the other boys had just got back and were currently dragging multiple boxes into the living room. We unpacked everything and realised just how long we were going to be here for.
"Erm, well me and Zayn can paint while, Louis and Harry build the cots", I instructed, not really knowing where to start.
"What about me?", Niall asked..
"Well, you're going to drive your hungry arse to Mcdonald's and get us all some food", I punched him lightly in the arm as he jumped up and down excitedly before running to the car.
We pulled the two pots of paint out of the heap in the middle of the lounge, one baby pink one and another one slightly darker. Emily had talked endlessly about wanting the babies' room pink with three walls slightly darker than the others, so that's what she was getting.
I grabbed two rollers and a couple of small paintbrushes and Zayn and I got to work. I could hear multiple sounds of frustration coming from Harry and Louis who didn't seem to be having much luck with the cots.
When the walls had their first coat finished I went out to help the boys build the cots and soon realised that they hadnt seen the instructions. I took apart they death trap that they had made so far and built it the correct way. I left them to build the second one and went back to help Zayn paint the second coat. Twenty minutes later I heard a loud cheer coming from the boys and could tell they had been successful this time. Niall walked through the front door with his mouth already full of food and his arms full of bags of Mcdonald's. We all rushed to the kitchen, now starving since we hadnt yet eaten anything. We scoffed our food and got back to work. The main painting was done but Zayn planned on adding something artistic, him being the only artistic one out of the five of us. I went and helped the other boys to put together the rest of the furniture. I couldn't help my thoughts from drifting off to Emiy, just her face when she saw that the babies' room was done, the smile on her face would be worth every second of today.
