Chapter 56

Zayn's POV*

"I tried to call you earlier, but you didn't answer", Perrie's familiar voice sounded through the phone.

"I know, I didn't want to answer it at the time", I replied, not sure of where this conversation was heading.

"So why did you phone me back?"

"Because I miss you", I said, trying to get straight to the point to avoid trailing off and getting distracted.

"Oh, you have no idea how good it is to hear you say that, I miss you too", I smiled slightly when I heard this.

We spent at least an hour on the phone just talking before we said goodnight.

"I'll text you tomorrow", I told her.

"I love you Zayn", she said hopefully.

"Night Perrie", I said and hung up. I wasn't quite ready to say it back yet.

I put my phone on silent and went back to sleep.

Emily's POV*

I headed back to bed when I had finished my hot chocolate but couldn't sleep because the babies had decided to start kicking me, I swear they were ganging up on me.

Liam woke up after a few minutes of my fidgeting and started singing to me as he usually did when I couldn't sleep. I eventually drifted off, with Liams arms around me.

We all sat in the garden for breakfast this morning, each with a chocolate croissant or two, a piece of toast and jam and a glass of orange juice. A pigeon flew past and Louis jumped out of his seat and shouted "KEVIN!!" and pouted as the bird flew away, making us all laugh at his childishness.

When we had finished eating Zayn took it upon himself to take all of the empty plates to the kitchen. As reached over to get my plate he leaned towards me and whispered "I need to talk to you", too quietly for anyone other than myself to hear it. I announced that I was got to help clear the plates and grabbed a few before quickly following Zayn into the kitchen.

"I talked to Perrie", he said, clearly wanting to get straight to the subject.

"And?" I encouraged him to explain.

"I think we're going to give things another go, but I wanted to double check that you're okay with it, I don't want to do anything you wouldn't be comfortable with", I laughed at the way he was basically asking my permission.

"Zayn, it's fine, honestly", I insisted. He smiled at me and we started to clean the plates, him washing and me drying.

We spent the rest of the day lounging around in the garden, the boys insisted on playing twister, which I obviously couldn't participate it so I just laughed at them as they were twisted into almost impossible positions. Eleanor painted my nails and my toenails, painting them light pink with little daisy's on them. It was nice being able to just spend time together here, with no screaming fans or crazy dramas to ruin things. The wedding was in a months time and there was still so much to arrange. Liam's sister's had sent their measurements so that I could order the bridesmaids dresses and most of the other stuff was sorted out, but we still needed to get my dress, the boys' tuxes, sort the food out, arrange the seating plan for the dinner, and so many more little things. Eleanor and I had sorted a lot of it out yesterday when they boys disappeared for the day, to where I still don't know as they aren't giving any clues away, but I had now said that I wasn't going to do any more wedding stuff while we were here.

"Im hungry!" Niall announced loudly as he ran to the kitchen and returned with a huge grin on his face. "I put some pizza's in the oven", he said proudly.

We ate our slightly burnt pizza and spent the rest of the day just relaxing and talking. I went to bed early in the evening as I had a headache and Liam joined me a little while late, knowing I wouldn't be able to sleep without him. The house was silent so I knew everyone else was still outside. Tomorrow was our last day here and I really couldn't wait to go home, I missed my own bed and my own house and felt like we had been travelling for far too long now. I fell asleep, Liams fingers running through my hair and my head resting on his chest. One more day and we could go home.
