Chapter 47

Emily's POV*

I woke up with Liam latched on to my body, his limbs wrapped around me. I was sweating underneath his warm body and had to use all of my strength to roll him off of me. I hadn't realised how near to the edge of the bed we were so when I pushed him off of me he rolled over and fell straight to the floor with a loud thump. I gasped before exploding into an outburst of laughter as he sat up quickly looking confused.

"Did you just push me out of bed?" he said, confusion laced in his sleepy voice.

"Well, erm, yeah I did", I said still giggling.

"Why?" he said, standing up and rubbing his elbow.

"You were squishing me! I didn't mean to actually push you to the floor, I'm sorry", I was still laughing hysterically and the more I thought about what had just happened the funnier it seemed. Liam stood on the bed and began jumping up and down lightly. I continued giggling as he knelt down and began tickling me. The babies clearly felt left out and they began kicking my stomach. We both sat there still laughing, with our hands on my stomach.

"Hello babies", Liam said to my stomach through his chuckling. He imitated them talking back and we both doubled over with laughter again.

They boys had to go to the studio to record the last two songs for the new album so Eleanor and I were going to get coffee and meet them when they were done.

"What time are you meeting Eleanor this morning?" Liam called to me from the bathroom, his mouth full of toothpaste as he brushed his teeth.

I looked at my phone to check the time. It was half nine now and I was meeting Eleanor in an hour.

"In an hour", I called back, "so hurry up and get your sexy arse out of that bathroom!"

I heard him chuckle, causing him to choke as he gargled a mouthful of mouthwash.

He came out of the bathroom as I walked in and he gave me a cheeky slap on the bum making us both laugh. I tied my hair up in a bun on the top of u head to avoid getting it wet in the shower. After I had spent far too long in the shower I got out and wrapped a towel around myself, only just managing to cover my bump and went back into the bedroom where Liam was getting changed. We had gone back to being our usual flirtatious selves and we were both a lot happier since leaving New York, I was glad about that. He was wearing only his boxers so I walked over to him and stood on tiptoes, reaching up to kiss him pinching his bum flirtatiously making him yelp.

"Go and get dressed you, otherwise you'll be even later than usual!" He said with a chuckle.

"Yes sir", I salutes at him mockingly and he stuck to fingers up at me in return.

"What did I do to deserve such a caring man?" I asked sarcastically sticking my tongue out at him childishly.

"Get ready you goof", he winked at me.

I had to leave I'm twenty minutes so I quickly got dressed. It as warm today so I put on another new dress, this one was a pastel-pink colour with a lacy band around the top of my bump. I put on a pair of white sandals and a thin white cardigan. I grabbed my makeup bag and went to the bathroom. I did shimmery pink eyeshadow to match my dress and put a neat line of eyeliner on my eyelid. I put on a layer of mascara and a pretty pink lipstick with lipgloss over the top. I didn't need to bother with foundation or concealer, I had the whole pregnant glow going on at the moment. I put my makeup away as there was a knock on the door. Liam answered it as I did my hair, putting a French plait around the front leading into a side bun. Eleanor and the boys all stood in the door way waiting for me as I shoved my things into my handbag.

"I'm ready!" I said finally, they all laughed at my enthusiasm and Liam held my had as we left the room and headed down the the lobby. We got outside and got onto the minibus that was taking the boys to the studio and dropping Eleanor and I at the cafe. Eleanor was wearing a white dress with a denim jacket and light blue sandals. She had her hair in a fishtail plait and her makeup was subtle and very pretty. We all laughed and talked until we got to the cafe at which point I kissed Liam goodbye and we got out of the minibus.

We decided to sit outside in the sun and we ordered our drinks. I had a mixed berry smoothie and Eleanor had a strawberry and banana smoothie.

"So how long are you staying in LA for after we've left?" I asked her, taking a sip of my smoothie through my straw.

"I'm here for two more weeks, I've got a friend that lives out here so I'm spending some time with her." She told me and I nodded.

"Well, when the tour is over at the end of June we will have to meet up, I need help organising the wedding", I said and she clapped her hands excitedly.

"Yeah, I can't imagine the boy being much help there", we both giggled.

"I know, it's going to be hard enough trying to get them to try on their tuxes." I rolled my eyes at the thought of having to practically handcuff them to the shop while we found the tuxes. Liam had decided to have all four of them as his best men since he could decide on just one of them.

"How many bridesmaids are you having?" She asked me.

"Three I think. You of course and then Liam's sisters, I haven't had a chance to ask them yet though", I explained. I was pretty close to Liam's two sisters and Eleanor knew them well too.

"Sounds good, well I'm definitely happy to help with anything you need me too", she offered.

"I think I might have to take you up on that offer", I giggled and she smiled.

We finished our smoothies and I went to the toilet for the second time since we had been here. The amount of times I had to urinate each day was the most annoying thing about being pregnant. I returned to our table and we ordered a snack. I had a blueberry muffin and Eleanor had a slice of strawberry cheesecake. We continued to discuss wedding plans and I showed her some pictures of dresses and shoes and various other bits. My phone buzzed on the table and I picked it up.

"Hey, baby. How's your morning been?" Liam's voice sounded through the phone and I smiled.

"It's been good, how's recording going?"

"Yeah, all good, we are just finishing up so we'll be there in about twenty minutes to pick you two up, is that okay?"

"Yeah, we're ready to go, I miss you", I told him.

"I miss you too gorgeous, I'll see you soon", he said and we hung up.

"They'll be here soon", I informed Eleanor, putting my phone in my bag.

We paid the bill and just waited for the boys to turn up. I got a text from Liam saying that they were round the corner so we got up from our table and sure enough there they were.

Liam opened the door of the minibus for us and we climbed in. We got back to the hotel and went down the spa. I didn't want to go in the Jacuzzi so I just sat on the edge with my feet in. The boys all got in and sat down, Liam next to where I sat and Louis with Eleanor on his lap. Everybody began talking and Liam looked at me, he raised his hand out of the water and traced circles on the back of my leg with his finger making me giggle.

"I missed you", he said with a smile.

"Meh, I guess I kind of missed you too", I joked and he splashed water on my legs.

"You still up for coming to the show tonight?"

"Of course, maybe we could do something afterwards, just me and you, we haven't done anything like that in ages", I felt like since the tour had started I hadn't really had much time alone with Liam and I missed it.

"Yeah I know, what do you want to do?" he was now stroking my leg lovingly with his thumb, looking at me in a way that nobody else ever had.

"Surprise me", I challenged him and his smile grew.

"I'd love to", he said and I leant down to kiss his perfect lips.
