Liam's POV*
I got out of the bath first and held a towel up for Emily. She stepped out of the bath carefully and wrapped the towel around her. Her long blonde hair was now dripping with water and she had slight black smudges of makeup under her eyes. I wrapped a towel around my waist and followed Emily to the dresser. She sat on the small wooden stool and picked up the hair dryer. I took the hair dryer out of her hand and she smiled. I turned it on and stood behind her drying her hair, running my fingers through it with my empty hand. She closed her eyes and continued to dry her long hair. I could tell from her behaviour that she felt a lot better now, she was relaxed and calm.
When her hair was dry I turned the hair dryer off and she opened her eyes. I looked at her in the reflection of the mirror and she leant backwards, resting her back on me. I put my hand on her shoulder and she held it in her own, still smiling. She tilted her head brushing her cheek on my hand and I kissed the top of her head.
This morning had been pretty good, considering all that had been going on recently, today was nice, everyone was happy and things just seemed so much better than they had yesterday. We just needed to make it through tonight and then we could move away from New York and hopefully leave all this mess with Perrie behind.

Emily's POV*
For some reason, everything felt better now, I felt like Perrie had made her point now, and like she couldn't do anything else. We had less than twenty four hours left here in New York, there wasn't really much more Perrie could do in that amount of time.
The boys were currently on stage performing their last show in New York and I was backstage as usual. I always seem to find myself subconsciously singing along to every song.
The crowd went crazy as the boys said goodnight and waved at them before coming off stage. I received kisses from all the boys and we made our way to the bus, we would be driving all night so we were sleeping on the bus tonight.
We clambered into the bus quickly and pulled away from the arena within seconds of closing the door.
I went up the stairs to the top of the bus to get changed into trackies and one of Liam's tshirts. The clothes I ordered had arrived two days ago but I preferred sleeping in Liam's Tshirt. I got straight into bed and just listened the sound of the boys talking and laughing below me.
Liam's footsteps sounded up the stairs and seconds later he pulled back the curtain that covered my bed.
"Hey, I'm going to stay up with the boys for a bit, is that okay?" He stroked my hair as he talked, making me suddenly sleepy. I nodded and he leant over to kiss me. I returned the kiss and he smiled before saying goodnight, closing the curtain and going back downstairs.
I listened to them all talking until I fell asleep.
