Chapter 28

Emily's POV*

It had been a month since we arrived in Europe and the boys had done twenty eight shows including Italy and France. I now had a rather prominent bump and we had started doing this thing where we got a large square piece of card and we would stick it to the wall in every hotel and then as each month of my pregnancy passed I would stand with my back at the beginning of the page and stand side on, we would shine a light onto my stomach so that there was a shadow of my bump on the paper and Liam would draw a line outlining the shadow, showing the size of my bump. We would then measure my waist and write how many inches it was. We only had month two and three so far but we planned to do it until the end and then put it in the babies' room.

I had now had my second check up and had been told that I was having two perfectly healthy baby girls. I was so excited about being a mum now and Liam was just as happy about being a dad, and the boys were definitely looking forward to being 'uncles'.

We were now in Berlin and the boys had almost finished the European leg of the tour. We still had three months of travelling left still needing to visit, America, Asia, Australia and other parts of the world.

I was really enjoying being on tour with the boys but I knew it would soon become difficult, the rate my stomach was swelling was going to become a problem.

Today was one of the few days off the boys had and they all slept in until lunch time. I however had woken up at about eight and was so hungry now that I was eating for three people that I needed to get some food. I didn't want to leave the hotel without Liam or security as there were fans camping outside hoping to see the boys. I picked up the phone that was next to the bed and dialled the number for room service. I ordered waffles with strawberries and waited for it to arrive.

I enjoyed my breakfast while reading a magazine, that for once had nothing about the boys' personal life in it.

I finished my food and decided to have a shower.

By the time I got out the shower Liam still wasn't up and I was bored as hell. Out of all the boys, Niall is normally the first to wake up on a day off because he wants good so I sent him a text asking if he was awake to which he responded straight away. I told him to meet me outside our hotel room so we could go and get hot chocolate. It was now the end of April and it wasn't really that cold but I was craving hot chocolate and knew Niall wouldn't object.

"Hello beautiful", he smiled and winked at me before we headed down to the hotel cafe to get a drink. We chatted for a while and one by one the other boys joined us.

They all wanted to go in the jacuzzi and sauna but I didn't fancy it so I just sat on the side of the jacuzzi and painted my nails. The boys were engaged in conversation and I laughed every now and then, I didn't really join in the conversation but I didn't need too, just being around them made me feel so lucky to have friends like them. I looked at my stomach and put my hand on it. I was definitely a very lucky girl.
