God teleports everyone to the Elysian Fields, though there were some protests when it came to bringing Lucifer along. Gabriel, Michael, and Mark fought for it, though, so God decided to bring him to please them. The archangel himself doesn't seem to care either way, though, which is seriously confusing God. Is this some weird type of PTSD from the cage or something? But Michael says he isn't usually like this, so it can't be from the cage. What's going on with him?
"Okay, everybody, stay behind me and don't get lost, okay?" God commands them.
He doesn't wait for a response before he starts walking to the underworld. Okay, so he didn't actually teleport them to the Elysian Fields. He brought them to the entrance of the underworld instead. It doesn't matter; God has always been close to the little puppy that guards the entrance.
Cerberus is waiting at the entrance, a menacing look on his faces. When he sees God, his badass facade is done, and he returns to playful puppy mode. God walks up to him, scratching the dog behind the ears of one of his three heads.
"Hey, Cerberus," he greets the oversized mutated puppy. "Mind if I squeeze through here?"
Cerberus makes a pleased noise, and God knows he won't be stopped. He gestures for everyone else to follow as he squeezes by the dog, and they make their way to the Elysian Fields. Nope, wait, there's Hades. Dammit! Is that... Great, Hades and Pluto. This is going to be interesting.
"Hey! How did you get in here?" Hades demands as he walks up to them, Pluto right behind him.
"Cerberus let me in," God replies simply.
"Wait, what god are you again?" Pluto asks.
"The one with the lamb," God replies, knowing they'll understand. The Greeks and Romans like to call him the Lamb God because he refuses to tell them his real name.
"Oh, Lamb God!" Hades says, just as God knew he would. "That would explain why Cerberus let you in. I thought you started making your own worlds. Why are you here?"
"I'm here to find Zeus, and then I'll leave," God replies.
"Zeus?" Hades repeats. "Zeus isn't here."
"He's the Jupiter guy, right?" Pluto asks.
"Yes, he's Greek Jupiter," Hades confirms, then adds under his breath, "Moron."
"I think he's in the Elysian Fields," Pluto says.
"Seriously? And you didn't kick him out?"
"No, because I didn't want to get fried today!" Pluto replies.
Hades groans. "Your such an idiot," he mutters. "Why are you looking for Zeus?" he asks God.
"He took a friend of a friend, and I'm here to get her back," God replies.
Hades and Pluto share a look, and Hades nods slightly. Pluto says, "Make it quick. I don't want word getting out that we're letting people in here."
God nods once. "Of course. I have no desire to speak with the gods any time soon anyway."
He gestures for everyone else to follow him, and that's when Hades and Pluto finally notice their existence. They both begin to protest, but God cuts them off.
"Let us go or I'll tell Cerberus to let anybody in here."
"Fine," both gods of the underworld say at once.
God grins triumphantly and leads the others to the Elysian Fields. For those who don't know, it's essentially Heaven for Greeks and Romans. It hasn't been very busy lately, though, because not as many people believe in it. That's why it's so easy to just walk in and not get called out for not being dead. God wanders for a while, knowing that if he gets lost, he can just ask for assistance with leaving. The underworld gods won't hesitate to help him get out of their land.
After about fifteen minutes of walking around, he finds a very large house of gold in a world that his nothing but fields. Because that's not suspicious at all. God walks up to it and opens the door, where he's greeted by a grand room. There's a man standing in front of the large sliding doors, though what's behind them is hidden due to the opaque screen. It seems likely that the reason Zeus stands in front of it is that what they're looking for is behind it.
"Ah, Lamb God, nice to see you again," Zeus says with a grin, walking out to meet the other god in the middle of the room.
"I wish I could say the same to you," he replies. "I'm here for the girl, and that's all."
"Ooh, I can't help you with that one," Zeus says. "See, she's sort of mine now, so... Thanks for visiting, bye!"
"I'm not leaving without her, so I suggest you give her sooner rather than later."
"What part of 'mine' do you not understand?"
"The part where she's yours," God replies. "Because, if I was told correctly, she's actually the child of my angel, so that would make her mine."
"And if I was told correctly, you took a vacation from Earth, so you don't have the same rights here that you used to, so really, she's mine."
"Enough with the bickering!" Janus says. "Zeus, seriously, give her back."
Zeus looks at him, just now realizing there are other people. His eyes stop on Lucifer, and he looks at the angel in confusion.
"You're being very quiet today," he observes. "It's strange."
Lucifer doesn't reply. His eyes stay glued in the door behind the god.
"Okay..." Zeus says, not bothering to figure the angel out. "Anyway, bye!"
"For a god from a religion that's all about hospitality, you're not very hospital," God observes.
"For a God that's all about love, you're not very loving to your angels," Zeus retorts. "I think you broke Lucifer."
"So I've heard," God replies.
During their bickering, Jesse sneaks away from the group, staying against the wall until he's behind Zeus. Once he's out of the god's line of sight, he walks up to the door and places a hand on one of the large handles. Zeus walks to his side and pulls him away. "Ah-ah-ah, no touching!" he says, throwing the demon back to the cluster of people.
While Zeus is distracted by throwing the Jesse, God grabs him and throws him into a wall. The building shakes from such a strong throw. God pins him to the wall with both his mind and his body as he says, "You guys go ahead." He creates chains to hold Zeus to the wall, but he knows better than to expect them to hold. He keeps his physical and metal hold as well just in case. Everyone rushes to the door, which Janus flings open. The group all freezes when they see what's inside, no one sure what to do.
Emily Swallow, the woman who plays the Darkness, is sitting on the floor, a girl with choppily cut short blond hair sitting with her. The blond's face is buried in Emily's chest, her shoulders shaking from crying. Emily rests her head on the younger girl's, her arms wrapped around her in a comforting way. The thing that makes this look sort of awkward is the fact that they're both wearing very skimpy bikinis. Neither of them seem to mind their close proximity with their lack of clothes, though; they're clearly used to it enough.
Emily looks up at the sound of the opening door, a menacing expression on her face. She glares at everybody here, not trusting them at all. She holds the blond closer protectively.
"Macie?" Jesse guesses, looking at the blond.
She looks up, her eyes locking with his. She stands up and runs over to him, throwing her arms around him. Jesse hugs her back, rubbing her back soothingly as she cries into his shoulder.
"Are you okay? What happened?" Jesse asks.
"He... He made me do things..." she mutters. "He..." She trails off, hugging Jesse tighter as her crying gets louder.
Dean walks over to Emily, holding a hand down to her. She takes it hesitantly, allowing him to help her up.
"You're not Jensen..." she observes.
"No, I'm Dean Winchester," he informs her. "There's been a bit of an issue, so Jensen is gone."
She looks at him curiously, then decides against pressing further. "What are you here for?"
"We came to rescue Macie, but we can save you, too, since you're here."
"Just get me out of the underworld and I'll be fine. I need to find my brother."
"Your brother is here," Dean tells her.
"Where?" she demands.
"Out there," Dean replies, pointing to the door.
Emily nods once and walks out of the room to find him. She sees him holding Zeus against the wall with an iron tight grip.
"Brother," she greets him, hiding all emotion.
God looks at her and his eyes soften. "Amara," he replies, calling her by her real first name instead of her earthly one. "What are you doing here?"
"I left with Zeus thinking he was you," she tells him. "Though I suppose I'm no worse off than I was when you left me."
"I'm sorry," he says softly.
"Clearly you were not," she replies coldly. "Or you would not have done the same thing to me to your favorite son."
God frowns, knowing she's got him. But there is one thing she got wrong. "Lucifer was never my favorite."
"That does not matter," Amara replies. "He was your son, and you locked him away, just as you did with me. "
"I know, and it was rude, but it was right, and I'd do it again if I had to."
"Then you aren't sorry."
"I'm sorry you couldn't see that it was necessary," he replies simply.
"It wasn't," she insists.
"It was. I had a world to create, and you wouldn't let me, so I made you let me. Lucifer put that world in jeopardy, and I sent him away as well. But it was for the greater good. Can't you see?"
Amara is silent for a moment, watching him and waiting for any sign that he doesn't mean this. Any sign that he's truly sorry and he's just saying this because he refuses to admit he made a mistake. But there is none. He honestly believes this was for the best.
Finally, she says, "When we get out of here, I want you to stay far, far away from me, and if I ever see you again, I will destroy your worlds, one at a time, and I will make you watch."
With that, she walks away and back to the fields of the Elysian Fields, knowing she got her point across. His world's are more precious than him than anything else; he's definitely proved that. Destroying them is the worst thing she could possibly do to him, and she might just do it whether he watches or not.
