Eon's POV

When I woke up, I felt a throbbing in my limbs. I opened my eyes, allowing lots of light in through my pupils. I grunted in pain and shut my eyes again, tears gently tracing my temples.

"Eon..." a frail, female voice whispered.

Feliz.

"Are you alright, my child?"

My mind could only focus on the pain in my arms and legs. My throat felt raw, as if I had been screaming for who knows how long. My words sounded hoarse.

"I... my limbs... are... trash."

"Okay, I believe that's good," Feliz remarked.

"They aren't broken, and I know that."

I squinted and could see the silhouette of Feliz's head.

"My limbs... are..."

"Trash," Feliz echoed with a chuckle.

I tried to adjust to the light before I was able to fully open my eyes.

I couldn't remember anything.

Maybe Feliz would know...

"Feliz... what... happened to make my limbs... feel... feel like garbage?"

"You were sliding down a collapsing building in your search for Chaot---"

An intense rage flooded me.

"Chaot! Where is she? I need to find her so I could kill her, then I... she'll be dead by the time I'm done with---"

"Shh... calm down..." Feliz hushed me.

My wild eyes began to settle.

Feliz's small hands spread across my cheeks, and she looked into my eyes.

"The others are dealing with Chaot. You don't need to worry, okay? She'll be dead when they're done, alright?"

I took a deep breath, flushing all my emotions out in one exhale.

"Okay, I'm calm. What do we do for now?"

"You know your friend Mae?" Feliz asked out of the blue.

Wait... Mae... who was Mae?

Mae... green eyes...

Mae.

"Ah, yes, Mae," I replied with a sudden remembrance.

"I know her. She was being tortured by Chaot, as far as I believe."

"Yes, she was being tortured by Chaot, but since we can't do much to assist the others, we need to plan on how we can save her."

"But her whereabouts are unknown to us," I recounted.

"Or is it?"

Feliz stared deeper into my eyes.

"Eon, you can have visions, right?"

I nodded.

"Yeah, but they happen randomly."

"Stand," Feliz ordered.

I quietly stood up, my legs trembling in pain. I looked down and found them full of cuts and bruises. My arms didn't fare any better.

"Good," Feliz said.

"Now, relax. Try and let in a vision, and try to make it about Mae. Find her, figure out where she is imprisoned, then tell me."
