Eon's POV
It had been a couple of weeks, and I was beginning to get worried.
We'd been listening to the news as much as we could, and there was no info on where Chaot was.
No major attacks.
No sightings.
Just political problems and maybe a few passing mentions of Chaot, but no recent events.
And tomorrow was Christmas.
I felt the nostalgia flooding within me.
I hadn't actually celebrated Christmas since I was twelve or thirteen.
The last time Christmas came around, we were on the run.
We could celebrate it in Mae's house.
What if this was part of Chaot's plan?
Luring us into a false sense of security and suddenly striking again?
We could not just drop our guard like that, and that was one of my worst fears.
I turned around from the window and walked into the kitchen, letting myself sit down. It was snowing outside for some reason, and it had piled up a bit already.
Maybe we could go out and play in the snow or something.
Or maybe build a snowman.
I turned around to the group, who were all through a door behind me listening to the radio.
"Hey," I called.
Cyclone, Rocksworth, Arcmagos, and Forestra turned around to face me, but the other five were listening to the radio with Feliz.
"Do you wanna build a snowman? There's quite a lot of snow outside, so maybe we could do that before Christmas tomorrow."
Forestra seemed to shiver a little.
"Why do those words seem to chill me? I feel like I've heard that phrase a million times," she said.
"What phrase?" I asked.
"Do you wanna build a snowman? I don't know, but anyway... that'd be fun, I think."
She turned to Arcmagos.
"You wanna... uh... go out and make three snowballs, one smaller than the other two, and stack them on top of each other?"
"That would be fun, but we still don't know when Chaot would attack," Arcmagos said.
I chuckled. I put on a fake British accent and straightened myself up.
"Well, to hell with Chaot! Let's all go and have some fun!"
They all giggled in unison.
"Fine, fine. We'll just get sone good clothes for the snow."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After half an hour, we'd finally finished building our snowman. It was a lot harder than I thought.
Did we even do it right?
"Okay, that was fun," Blackout sighed.
"Let's blow it up."
I looked at her with shock.
"What?"
"Hey, I mean it'd be a good way to get some training. We can build a huge army of snowmen and see how fast we could destroy them. And, it'll be good to learn how to build one efficiently," she chuckled.
