"Hey! Hey don't you turn your back to me Nigra!" Tolbert called "goddamnit Tolbert!" Calvin shouted running to his brothers. "Hey! Hey some stop her, she's skinning out with those roses!" Tolbert called out with an amused cackle pointing in the direction Chyna went. Katherine had a start and in return the well dressed Miss paniced as well. "No! Tolbert she aint stole anything! Stop this!" Calvin called as Tolbert and Pharmer bolted out the back after Chyna.
Chyna fumbled to untie Cap's horse, she manged to do so and clumsily mount it before the McCoy boys reached her. As she galloped away they shouted into the streets "theif!" Chyna looked back to see a a crowd gathering. The Mccoy Boys ran to their horses.
"Chyna!?" A familair voice called.
Chyna looked ahead of her to see Nancy McCoy halting her in the middle of the street. "Whats going on Chyna?" Nacy asked. Chyna's eyes were glittering with fearful tears. "I swear I aint stole nothing Miss Nancy" Chyna said. "Well no of course not...those things are all dried up an-"
"There she is! I'm comin for ya nigra!" Tolbert shouted. Nancy glared up the road along the way Tolbert and Pharmer had gathered Paris and Sam McCoy along with them. "Damnnit wait!" Calvin called from the distance.
"Go on Chyna get yourself outta here!" Nancy called swatting the horse on it's rear ir took off. "Thank you miss Nancy!" Chyna called back as Nancy stood in the center of the road.
"What in the hell are you boys doing! You leave 'er alone!" Nancy spat venomously leering at her kin. "Aint no buisness of yours! Now move!" Tolbert ordered. "Chyna's my friend, my Ma took care of her family when your's couldn't, it is my buisness!" Nancy shouted. "Stop telling lies on her!" She shouted. "What the hell you gonna do?" Tolbert laughed as Paris and Sam road by him making chase, he and Pharmer following after.
"Nancy you gotta help me, this is my fault" Calvin said slowing down his horse and extending his hand down to her. Nacy took his hand and climbed on behind him. "Don't you worry none, we'll stop 'em. Now just go" Nancy said calmly. Calvin nodded and swatted his horses rear making it go.
Chyna's heart beat fast as she weaved through the woods. She could hear the McCoy boys cackling and cheering as if on a fox hunt. Her heart raced and she gripped the bundle of flowers in her hand tightly. It was her only proof of innocence and she meant to hold onto them no matter what.
