"so I'll sleep in your room tonight?" my face was red thinking about it, are we going to share a bed?

"yes, don't think anything of it" "just a few nights until we catch the guy who threatened you" he held my hand. "put your trust upon me to catch this guy".

"I have no doubt that we'll find him" It was quite a romantic scene, he was holding my hand in the fading sunlight. I find it quite hard to think that we have spent the whole day in the woods together. We walked side by side to his chambers and if anyone were to pass us then we would have to hide. No one can know that I'm sleeping in his chamber, it would probably be considered a scandal.

Zen opened the door to his chamber. Straight away I could tell that it was going to be massive, certainly fit for a prince such as himself. He had a kings sized bed (obviously) that was layered with silk sheets. You can't get silk often since it's expensive, it's a once in a lifetime thing for a person like me. I walked over the bed and glided my hands across the sheets, they were so smooth. Zen must think nothing of this material, he sleeps in it ever night.

"do you like it?"

"do I ever" "I hardly ever get to touch silk, it's so expensive my family could never afford it"

"You can sleep on the bed tonight if you want"

"no, you can I'll just sleep on this really comfy couch right here" I sat on the blue and gold couch, I sank right in. Everything in here is so luxurious, fitting for not only a prince but for a king.

So comfy...

He had a big window that overlooked the city of Clarines, from this view you can tell how big Clarines really is. The town had an orange glow over it as the sun went down. "it must be nice ruling over such a beautiful country" I peered at him. He sighed leant his head back into his hands. 

"It takes a lot of responsibility" "hence all the paperwork that I have to do" he leant against the wall right beside me. "you should get some sleep, don't want the beautiful face of yours to get weary" I blush and punched him in the arm. 

"Don't say stuff like that!" I stomped over to the couch and laid down, facing my back to Zen. 

Zen's POV

I chuckled at her behaviour, at glance she seems tough but she's easily flustered and sweet. I'm glad I was able to get her to stay here in Clarines, I couldn't imagine my life so far without her. When I first met Shirayuki I automatically knew that she was going to be a good friend, even though I didn't trust her at first. There were some stages when I thought that it was possible I could marry Shirayuki but then Y/N came along and changed my perspective. My world became colourful and much more enjoyable. Marrying Shirayuki wasn't something I no longer wanted, I realised that it wasn't a true feeling, a little crush. I think the feeling that I have for Y/N are true, these aren't fake. I want to be by Y/N's side, I want to be able to protect her as I do with my kingdom, one day I'll make that happen. 

I sat on my bed at looked over at Y/N who was already asleep on the couch. I think back to the forest and her caring nature towards animals, her love for the sunlight and fresh air. I'm probably one of the few people who know that side of her, as far as I'm concerned she doesn't show this side to other people. 

I laid down on my bed and tried to fall to sleep. However, I couldn't, it would be rude to leave her asleep on the couch without a blanket. I wonder if she would mind if I just picked her up and laid her in my bed. She would be flustered and probably slap me if she found out, I shouldn't make her feel comfortable so I lay her on my bed and I won't touch her not that I was going to anyway.

I picked her up bridal style and gently laid her down on the sheets. she looked like an angel when she's sleeping, so peaceful and quiet. Soon enough she had warmed up to the bed and curled up. I took my place next to her, I want to hug but she would  probably wake up and I don't really want that. Next thing I knew she was hugging up to me, I was surprised at first and wouldn't move but I warmed up to her. I hugged back and we fell asleep together

A/N: CHAPTER 20! wow, I didn't think I would write this much. When I first wrote this story it only had 11 chapters, it was really rushed. Thanks to the supporters of this book, I constantly get notifications about votes and comments. I'm relieved to hear that people are enjoying it.

I had writers block on this chapter so it's shorter than others and more boring, I hope you enjoyed the fluff that I attempted. have a great day and enjoy holidays before they end!
