"Miyumi!" I looked away from one of the girls asking me about a play and smiled when I saw Junko.

"Hey Junko! Good morning." Junko smiled and went to speak when I held up a hand. "We'll talk in a minute. I just need to finish explaining this play that were going to work on in practice."

I saw Tashida Eiko smile out of the corner of my eye and i felt a smile tug at the corner of my lips. Junko nodded and gave me a thumbs up before she sat in her seat next to me.

"So, after the offense runs down, pulling the defense back, the midfielder is able to get a pass from the defense on our team who will then join the fray until one defenseman is left on our half of the field. Then we play keep away until a shot opens up."

Eiko nodded, a smile spreading across her face. "Thanks Hashiko-Sama!" She said as she stood up.

"Anytime." I replied.

The small girl walked back to the front of the room and sat down in her seat. I turned to Junko who looked at me as if she were ready to burst. "What's the matter? Cat got your tongue?"

My best friend rolled her eyes. "So funny Miyumi."

"I know I'm drop dead hilarious. Why haven't I been asked to host my own comedy show yet?" Junko laughed.

She laughed so hard that she clutched her stomach and put her head down on her desk. Her blonde hair fell around her so you couldn't even see her face.

"See. I didn't even have to try and it was funny." I said as I flipped my hair over my shoulder.

Junko raised her head from the desk and shook it. Her eyes were squeezed shut but some tears did run down her cheeks.

"N-no!" She exclaimed through her laughs and tears. She shook her head as she took a deep breath and calmed herself down. She opened her green eyes, wiping the tears away. "It's funny how far from the truth that is."

I narrowed my eyes at her and she chuckled as she looked towards the front of the room.

"Oh you kill me so."

"But you love me and my flower picking ways anyway."

I nodded. "Of course." She smiled, a big grin on her face.

I rolled my eyes and leaned over, giving her a light punch on the arm. She rolled her eyes and punched me back. We went back and forth before we heard "Stand!" Class rep shouted.

Everyone immediately stood and looked chatter died down in the room.

"Bow!"

And class began.

"Where do you want to go to eat lunch today?" Junko asked as she closed her locker door, pink lunch bag in hand.

"Do you want to go out into the garden?" I asked.

"I was thinking that but-"

"Confessions. Right." Friday always had a ton of confessions, all of which were for Oikawa. And especially at lunch time. And it was always under the cherry blossom tree.

If you wanted to find him on a Friday then that's where he'd always be, just like clockwork.

Now don't get me wrong. I don't hate the guy but why would he go there and bring their hopes up? Would that just hurt them to think that you accept their confession and they could have a chance?

"Exactly!" Junko replied as she pushed her hair out of her face and tucked it behind her ear. "Now where do we go? Roof? Soccer field?"

"How about the soccer field? It should be quieter. Or at least more spread out." I pushed myself off the lockers and we made our way through the building to the back entrance.

"Was it just me or was class more boring then usual today?" I asked as we walked through the yard. Girls were already lined up and ready to talk to Oikawa.

Oikawa had the brightest smile on his face as he accepted one of the bento boxes from, what looked like, a first year.

I looked away from the ridiculously long line and Oikawa. I kept myself from rolling my eyes and made sure to keep walking.

'There's no way that boy can act that happy all the time.' I thought. 'It's all just a stupid act that soon has to fall apart.'

"It was suuuuper boring!" Junko said scrunching her eyebrows together and sticking her tongue out in disgust. "Like why do we even need to know calculus. It's the stupidest subject."

"I know. When am I ever going to need that in law?" I rolled my eyes as I pushed open the door to the hallway. We stepped back into the building and into the hallway that lead to the soccer fields.

"I'm going to be a stupid psychiatrist! Like why do I need any of what we are learning!" She exclaimed as she threw her hands up in the air.

People looked at us and immediately her face flushed red and she looked down. I moved my arm and chicken winged her.

Her feet were planted into the ground and she crossed her arms over her chest.

She laughed and turned, pushing me. "Knock if off." She whispered, looking extremely uncomfortable. So I did the only thing a best friend could do. I made fun of her to take her mind off of it, just like I always did.

"You were just talking loudly." Her face flushed an even deeper red.

"I didn't mean to!" She whisper exclaimed. "I just got into the conversation."

I laughed as I pushed the door to the field. "Come on miss loud mouth."

"I'm not that loud!" She exclaimed as she ran after me. People in the hallway laughed and shook their heads at the two of us.

We really were a pair.
