We went on some more rides after that but nothing as strange as the events of the first ride happened. We locked our stuff up into lockers and went on our way. We rode the tilt a whirl and did bumper cars and a few other things.

As we were walking Akane called out to me softly. I turned from Chiya to look at the girl. "Is everything alright?" I asked.

She nodded. "I just wanted to check something."

"Okay..." I replied quietly, curious as to how much she picked up from the awkwardness between me and the boy.

"You and that boy Oikawa. You don't have to share everything with me but do you want me to tell him to get lost for you? I know it's making you uncomfortable." I smiled, letting my shoulders relax as I shook my head.

"That's Iwaizumi's best friend. I don't want to make him feel uncomfortable." The girl nodded.

"If you need me say the word. I know Junko and Chiya would both be on board as well." I laughed quietly as I nodded.

"I'll keep that in mind." She smiled back and patted me on the shoulder before she slowed back down to talk to Junko and Iwaizumi. Oikawa was trailing awkwardly behind.

We grabbed lunch then continued onto some more rides and hung out for a bit. We took some pictures and I was slowly relaxing around the play boy. My guard was still up but his presence was bothering me less and less.

We went back to the lockers and I kept some money on me, stuffing it into my bra and putting the rest of my belongings in my locker.
Finally It was getting later in the afternoon and so we stopped for dinner. We grabbed our money and went to grab something to eat.

We grabbed some burgers and fries. I finished mine quickly and told them I was going to head over to the restroom. I went quickly but when I came back I got distracted by a section of rides. Before I knew it I was wandering around by myself, enjoying the silence of just my own thoughts.

I looked up at the sky ride where you got a view of the entire amusement park. I saw mostly couples laughing as they held one another. I put a hand to my heart and looked back around to the rides that surrounded me. I saw water rides mostly, a rock wall and further down a haunted house and the other way some game stalls.

"Excuse me but would you mind spending the rest of the night with me?" I turned and saw Oikawa smiling as he was bent over slightly, reminding me of a gentleman in the Victoria era asking a lady to dance.

"What is wrong with you today?" I asked. He seemed taken aback but straightened his posture. "One minute your mad and the next your acting like I'm one of your fangirls that you want to keep the attention of. So what is it?" I asked.

He didn't answer and I went to turn away but he took my hand in his. "I'm not good at this Miyumi." I turned to look into his eyes, pleading and begging me to listen to him.

"Why don't we go sit down." He seemed confused but nodded. I walked about ten feet away from where we were, moving away from the hustle and bustle of the theme park and sat down on the old wooden bench. "Please continue."

He nodded. "Look I know I can be an ass and I'm a flirt and it's hard to tell when I'm telling the truth and how I'm actually feeling." He let out a sigh. "I just want to prove to you that I'm here for you. I acted rashly and a lot of the things I said I didn't want to say. I didn't mean to hurt you but I was afraid of you hurting me more than anyone else ever has."

My heart beat against my chest, pounding loudly I my ears.

"So, can we start over and I try to earn your trust again?"
