I stood up, stretching as I went. I looked through the peephole and let out a sigh as I unlocked the door and pulled it open.

"Why haven't you been answering your phone?" Junko asked as she pushed herself inside.

"I turned my phone off." I replied as I closed and locked the door. "And thanks for waiting for me to invite you in." I said sarcastically, a small smile tugging at my lips.

I rubbed my tired eyes and shut the front door as I shuffled back into the living room. "Come and get changed, you need to get something to eat and I have some news to tell you when you have a full stomach."

So I was forced to change and out to lunch we went.

When ordering my food I noticed I got more glances than usual. A lot more.

When I turned I could see adults and small children looking at me with wide and glowing eyes. All of them seemed to know who I was. However I still asked Junko. "I don't have anything on my pants or anything right? Nothing that would make me get all these weird looks right?"

Junko laughed, shaking her head. "Nothing like that don't worry. You're fine."

But I didn't feel fine. The eyes kept looking at me. And as time went on I knew that Junko felt it too. "Gosh this is ridiculous" she mumbled. "I knew I should have just picked up food and we should have eaten at the house."

"Can you just tell me already?" I asked.

She shook her head. "Let's eat first. I'm starving!"

"We're talking about it over food. No ifs ands or buts."

"What did you think my plan was?" Junko asked as we walked into the mall. Immediately I knew where she was going.

"Really?"

"Hey McDonalds is extremely nutritious." She said pointedly before turning around to head up the escalator. "And before you complain about it being too unhealthy for soccer season there's a subway which you know about since you get it every time we're here." She said with a groan. "So healthy." She mumbled.

"It's not that healthy but it's better than McDonalds." She nodded.

"I will give you that."

When we reached the food court we went out separate ways and ordered our food. He stares continued and if anything they got worse as the food court was packed with people. I took a quiet deep breath as I carried my sub over to meet Junko in line. Finally she picked up her meal and we went and hid at a table in the corner of the room, away from not prying eyes.

"So Junko, what were you freaking out about?" I asked as I unwrapped my sandwich.

"Oh yeah I forgot!" She exclaimed. She picked up her phone from beside her on the table and unlocked it. She tapped furiously before turning the screen to me.

It was a magazine. And it had my picture on the front. 'Will Hachiko Miyumi lead Aoba Johsai to victory again this year?'

"Why is this even a thing?" I laughed as I "flipped" the pages on the phone to the article.

"I don't know. I saw it and I was like 'OMG I have to show this to Miyumi!' So I texted you but you never answered. And so I ran over to get you instead!" She put her hands on her hips, obviously proud of herself.

"Then dragged me out for food and left me in suspense instead." I said with a smile. "You really are a special one aren't you?" I laughed. She leaned over and punched me on the shoulder.

"I may look as pale and delicate as a porcelain doll but that doesn't mean I am!"

I only laughed as I started to read the article. I couldn't believe that people were so interested in this stuff. Like why would they be interested in high school sports?

"People sure will be talking about this at school tomorrow." I said with a laugh.

"Not even talking about it. They could ask you to autograph it." Junko replied with a wink.

'I'd been in magazines before and people never caused a fuss over it. Why should this time be any different?'

"Last time I only had a few people asking for it." I said with a small chuckle.

"Well a lot more articles were posted of you during summer break. And this one here is a well known magazine all over! So people are gonna want to say that they met you." Junko said with a smile. "Plus you've become more of a celebrity around these parts."

I laughed and rolled my eyes. "Sure." I replied as I took a bite of my sandwich.

"Is that why people are staring?"'I asked after I swallowed. I turned to face the room to see less eyes on us in our corner which was actually relieving.

Junko nodded. "Duh. Took you awhile to put two and two together miss smarty pants." I rolled my eyes as I took another bite of my sandwich.

"Excuse me." I turned to see a small girl behind me. I wiped my face off with a napkin and smiled at her.

"What can I do for you?" I asked.

"Can you sign my book?" She asked.

I felt a little taken aback but I let out a small chuckle. "Why do course." The little girl beamed at me as I took it front her and opened the sharpie.

"Mommy told me that I wouldn't see you here and I should wait to buy my book. I'm glad I didn't." She said with a toothy grin. She must've been about five or six as she was missing teeth.

"Well I'm glad you got it today." I said with a smile as I ruffled her hair.

"I want to play just like you when I grow up." My eyes widened in surprise and I turned to Junko who shrugged as she slumped the remainder of her soda.

I glared at her before turning back to face the little girl in front of me. "Just work hard and you'll get there."

"Thank you!" She said as she giggled, turning and skipping away from me and back to her mother. Her mother picked her up and gave her a huge hug as she laughed.

I turned back to Junko and let out a sigh of relief. Then I returned to my sandwich. "We should probably finish up fast before other people buy the magazine and come asking for an autograph."

I nodded in agreement.

"And tomorrow at school will be worse. I mean our school is basically a giant fan base to you and Oikawa."

"Yeah." I sighed as I took another bite of my sandwich.

Tomorrow would be worse.
