Suzuki sent me the address and time for the meeting of us captains at a small coffee shop about ten minutes from my house.

Thankfully there was only one other girl I would have to have lunch with other than Suzuki. It was the girl who first spoke to me after my introduction. Her name is Nakamura Akane. She seems nice, more light hearted and welcoming than Suzuki and me.

I got ready in something that looked somewhat decent and made my way out of the house. I plugged my headphones into my phone, placed them in my ears and started up my music, playing it low enough that I could hear it but also still hear the commotion from the world around me. I gripped the strap of my purse tightly as I placed it on the top of my shoulder. I let of it slowly and placed my hand back down at my side as I walked.

The air was cool because of the breeze, swaying the leaves ever so slightly on the trees. The wind rustled my hair and I smiled slightly, feeling like I could just be carried away by the wind.

I stopped for a moment near a small park and took a deep breath, smelling the fresh air coming from the trees and the grass before they went into hibernation. I could smell the dampness of the coming rain, the dark clouds above signaling that it would be coming closer soon. I let my shoulders relax and took a few more deep breaths. I felt better, rejuvenated even.

I continued my walk and within a few more minutes I reached the cafe. I pushed open the door and a small ting of a bell alerted the barista to my arrival.

The place was small but quaint. It felt comforting, almost like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. It was peaceful.

I turned and spotted Suzuki waving at me from a table in the back corner of the cafe. When I walked closer her golden eyes lit up, her smile radiating excitement. "Sir sit!" She commanded. "Oooo I'm just so happy you're finally here! Now we just have to wait for Akane." Her eyes kept flickering towards the door as she waited for her friend.

"I'm guessing you've both known each other for a long time." I said with a smile.

"Yeah since elementary in fact." She smiled, meeting my gaze. I went to ask another question but she stopped. "Do you mind if I call you Miyumi?" She tilted her head, almost looking like a puppy.

"Of course."

"Oh yay!" She squealed as she looked like she was going to bounce out of her seat. "Please call me Chiya!" She waved her hands excitedly and I almost burst into laughter.

"You seem more-"

"Exuberant?"

"I was going to say energetic but sure." I said with a small chuckle.

"It's all seriousness on the field but once I'm somewhere I can relax I just let everything go."

"And the girl becomes a giggling mess for sure." A voice said with a chuckle behind me.

I turned to see a girl with short greyson brown hair behind me. She set her coat down on the back of her chair, it dripping water down onto the floor. Her almost black eyes looked calm but menacing, just as the sudden downpour outside.

"Akane! This is Miyumi! Miyumi, Akane." I stood up and extended my hand.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Nakamura-San." She smiled and took my hand, shaking it firmly. "Although I do believe that we met briefly the other day." I said with a small laugh.

She laughed as well as we removed our hands from each other's and sat into our seats. "Likewise and I do believe so. And please, Akane is fine. After all we will be spending a lot of time together strategizing or just hanging out."
