Chapter Fifteen (Edited)~

As I wake up I burst up quickly to see if Jeff is awake yet, he isn't. I walk out of the room and walk into the living room. I sit on the sofa, waiting..

-Jeff

"Uuugghhhh..." I groan holding my stomach in pain. I open my eyes to see blankets and a pillow on the ground. "Did Madison sleep in here tonight?" I say to myself. I try to get up but my legs can't support me and I thump to the ground and cry in pain. I hear the door burst open and Madison running towards me picking me up and putting me back on my bed.

"Your alive!!" She screams happily as she hugs me. "You shouldn't get up your injured badly" her voice quickly changes to concern.

"What the hell happened?" I ask, confused. The last thing I remember is me fighting the rake.

"The rake nearly killed you, he stabbed you straight through the stomach. Thanks for saving me by the way, I would of been killed if it wasn't for you. But how come your always the one getting hurt?" She says, still worried about me.

I look down at my bare stomach and see a bandage raped all the way around my waist. I hold it in pain as I look at Madison

"cause I'm a dumb ass protecting a person I-" I pause there as I shake my head a bunch. Did I almost say that?!?

"You what Jeff?" She says coming closer to me.

"Never mind" I moan.

"Whatever..." she groans.

I watch as Madison furiously walk out of my room.

What the hell am I doing? I am almost dead for this little shit! Honestly, I haven't figured out why I am letting her live. There's something about her that I can't kill her, and it's not because she is 'family'. I don't really consider her family anymore. I haven't considered anyone family ever since I left.

I just have to make a new one...

Do I really love her?

This can't be, I'm a killer!

I'm not supposed to love, that would get in the way!

I smack myself in the face a couple times. I try to walk again and of course, I fall. But this time Madison doesn't come running in and helping me.

"Madison?!" I yell, I get no response. I crawl out of my room and into the living room to see she isn't here.

"God fucking dammit!" I yell as I try to get up. "Smile!!" I yell.

As soon as I yell, Smile comes to the door scratching at it. I drag myself to the door and open it. Smile quickly rushing in as I close the door behind him. He walks to me in concern.

"Smile, I need your help finding Madison"

He tilts his head then nods. I crawl to a chair and use it to help me up and sit down. I rest for a couple minutes and try to stand up, I walk slowly to Smile.

I give smile a whiff of one of her shirts and he barks. We walk for a while, it's really hard considering what state I am in right now. We walk in a different direction then what I'm used to. We make it to a house and we hear a scream that is quickly stopped.

"Is she in there?" I asks Smile, he nods in response.

I limp my way to the door and peek in, she's killing someone. I watch as she kills the person and does the fatal slash.

She walks out the door and I can tell I startled her cause she tried to stab at me but I dodged.

"What are you doing up??" She yells.

"I was trying to find your dumb ass, why the hell did you leave?" I yell back at her.

"I haven't been in a good mood and I needed to kill!" She screams back.

"But I needed your help and you weren't there, even though I was the one that saved you" I scream in her face.

"I just need some time to think..." She says lowering her voice.

"Think about what?!" I snap.

"I was scared that you were gone, I was really worried for you" she sighs

"So you fucking leave me?! When I needed you?" I yell in her face not even thinking about how her expressions are changing.

"I-I'm sorry" she sighs again. I slap her with all the strength I have, which isn't a lot.

"I don't believe you" I yell as I walk away clenching my fist cause I just can't hurt her anymore, I can't. She comes running towards me and turns me around by my shoulder.

"What the hell man?! I said I was sorry, I just needed to get what happened to you off my mind for already a little bit, it truly scared me"

"You know what, I'm sorry to. Sorry that I got you into all this crazy shit. I feel terrible, I shouldn't of let you come with me. Even though you would of gotten in huge trouble once the police found out,, I feel terrible" I say the last three words quietly as I get closer to her. "But I'm happy I got to know you, you know technically I don't consider anyone from my family 'family' anymore. They are just people I hate, besides you" she smiles as she lets me get closer to her.

"what do you mean? Am I technically not your cousin anymore?" She ask confused.

"In my opinion, no. To others, eh probably." I say as I press my body agains hers and she allows it. I hug her as I smell the scent of her Japanese Cherry Blossom hair.

"I'm sorry I got mad at you", "I get mad easily" I say depressed but that quickly fades to happiness as she kisses me quickly.

We walk home in silence as Smile follows us back to the cabin.
