Red opens her eyes, waking up. Its dark around her and she can’t see anything. Her body begins to glow so she sees some light. “It’s a good thing I can glow; now I can see some things.” Red murmurs. This isn’t the dream I was dreaming. She thinks this time and closes her eyes only opening them to the darkness of her newly strange dream.

She starts to walk around, careful not to touch anything. But then again, there is nothing Red can touch. All she can see is the blackness on the area.

Continuing to look around, Red spots a dim light in the distance. She doesn’t go near it knowing it could be a trap to her doom. Must be a trick…she thinks and clenches her fists. This dream must be like a prophecy type dream. I won’t fall for this junk. It’s out to kill me, since its dark, it must be sent by the dark force.

Red turns the other way, to find another light. She shakes her head. “You’re not going to fool me! I know this is a trick.” Red says and giggles. “Silly little dark force, whatever can you do?”

Still not wanting to fall for any trick, Red sits down and doesn’t move. There was no way she would be out smarted by the dream maker or whatever, only if there was one. I could be controlling this…not some dream maker if it exists in the world. Red thinks and tries to control some things but can’t. She then sighs and looks down onto the ground. I knew it, it could be the dark force, I knew it was some kind of dream maker.

“Don’t be so sure that I cannot hurt you. Ever heard the saying, fight fire with fire?”

The air around her suddenly starts getting warmer and then hotter.

Red looks around, finding more lights surrounding her. “What do you mean, fight fire with fire?” she asks standing up.

The room is quiet, the voice she heard does not reply back to her.

As the lights get brighter and brighter, Red notices what they really are; small fires getting larger by the minute. “Oh,” Red says. “That’s what you meant, fight fire with fire…I’m the fire element, and you’re going to kill me, in my dream, with fire.”

Laughter is then echoes through the area.

“But if I’m fire, then aren’t I immune to fire?” Red says.

“Don’t be so sure,” the voice then booms followed by fits of laughter.

Red gets up onto her feet and frantically looks around, trying to find a way out. She wants to run, but doesn’t know where to run. Everywhere she looks there is fire. And it could kill me; it’s probably a fire that’s made to kill me.

Because of this, Red begins to think about a possible escape route she could take. She analyses the fire carefully. The bright yellow and orange flames grow intensely by the minute. She lets them come closer, and get bigger.

It takes about five minutes till the flames finally close in on her.

She does the only thing she could possibly do; run through the fire, and try not to get too burned. Oh course I’m going to get burned, I’m going to be running through freaking fire! Red thinks and mentally hits herself.

She then runs as fast as she can through the fire and eventually gets out; feeling hot and warn out.

She notices that the end of her shirt is burning on fire. A quick scream escapes her lips and without thinking, she takes off her shirt. Red then whacks her pajama shirt onto the ground taking out the fire. She then puts her shirt back on.

The treasure, grab the hidden treasure…

Red begins to hear several voices in the back of her head. “What hidden treasure?” she thinks a loud.

Red hits her head thinking that her mind is playing tricks on her. But she knows it wasn’t, this prophecy quest is real.

“What treasure?” she mutters again looking around.

She then sees a stone in the distance…a star shaped stone the color bright blood red, and it sparkles due to the light of the fire.

Red immediately runs towards it, only to find that it grew further away from her and that she’ll never get there.

She gives up, tired of not stop running and turns around.

She walks back towards the fire. Staring at the huge flames and feeling the nice warmth against her skin, Red puts her hands in her pockets, she feels something hard in her left one.

She takes out the bright blood red stone, and holds it up to the light the fire is making.

The red stone… she thinks and deeply smiles. That’s the lost treasure.

Red immediately wakes up back it her room at the school.

She looks at her alarm clock and it is exactly five twenty in the morning. Red yawns and slides out of bed, shaking her head.

Red looks down at her shirt to see it burned and torn at spots, like it was in the dream. She stands there for a short while thinking how that can happen.

So if I’m still burned like I was in the dream that means…The stone! It must be in my pocket still! Red thinks excitedly.

Red reaches into her pocket, pulling out a medium sized star shaped bright blood red stone. I have it…I have the red stone. I have one stone…so that means one piece of the lost treasure.

Red smiles and puts the stone in a drawer. She then climbs back in bed and falls asleep.
