Red opens her mouth and begins reading, “Long ago, four ancient warriors protected our land from danger. They each held a special element. The elements were Water, Air, Fire and Earth. They used a Blue stone for water, Violet stone for air, Red stone for fire, and Amber stone for earth. The four warriors traveled to the moon, and put the stones together on top of the stone pillar that they have built many years before. But then this group of four evil villains grabbed the stones from them, and threw them back down to earth, and they all spread around the globe, this destroying most of earth, and huge battles began. The four warriors then spent years trying to find the stones, to return them to the stone pillar on the moon to restore peace to the land. They could never find them. Then they grew weak, and old, and eventually passed away. Evil continued to rise, but the descendents of the warriors helped stop them, and continued in search for the stones. The stones were never found, and until this day, the evil is continuing to look for them, to destroy the world, and rule it, once more. It is said that the ancient warriors have been formed again, and the same goes with the ancient evil. What lies in the world, depends on the four elemental stones.” Red finishes, and closes the book making it turn back to normal. Very interesting… Red thinks. I’m now pretty sure my element is fire, and that I have to find this, Red stone. Hah, it matches my name, no wonder why.
“Wow.” Violet says and looks down onto the floor. “I have been proven wrong about magic.” She says and frowns, admitting defeat. “For once I’m actually wrong about something, it feels weird. I’m always right.”
Red nods. "And then at the bottom of the page it has a prophecy which states, 'Four girls with power, water, air, fire, earth, destined to save all. But four girls will get in the way, and try to destroy all.' And then there are four stones, but they are colorless."
“That was it! The prophecy from my dream! I just couldn’t remember it word for word though.” Amber says. “So anyway, do you think we are the descendents of the four ancient warriors?” Amber then asks.
“Yup, I’m pretty sure.” Red said. “It makes sense because we have to find the stones and were given this prophecy. Now all we have to do is search for the stones.”
“And the bad guys,” Blue says looking up.
“Right,” Amber says nodding.
Red takes the book and gives it to Amber. “Give this to your dad Amber, he might know more.”
Amber shakes her head. “I remember in the dream I was told we couldn’t tell anyone no matter what, or we would be punished, by fate.”
“Oh,” Red says and takes back to book.
“Yeah, I don’t think we should let anyone know about this.” Blue says. “We might get in trouble.”
“Blue has a point, remember, the book turned normal when Mrs. Bloom walked up. I’m pretty sure it means no one else can see it.” Violet adds in.
Red nods. “Right, you do have a point. But we can do something based on this for our science project, maybe the elemental force of black and white magic and such.”
Violet nods. “Yes, and we can probably get an A plus if we use this topic!”
Amber claps her hands together. “Yes! We can!” She says and smiles.
Red also smiles. “Well, I’ll see you guys later. I’m going to kick my soccer ball around for a bit. You can join me if you want,” Red says getting up with her soccer ball.
“I’ll come with you.” Blue says getting up. “I’ve never played soccer before, but I know how it works.”
“Okay,” Red says and turns around to find Blue run up to her and they start to pass the ball to one another.
When Red kicks the ball to Blue, Blue misses it and the ball went pass her.
“Blue, go get my ball!” Red says.
Blue sighs. “Fine, but you are the one who kicked it, I just missed.”
Red shrugs, “Yeah, whatever. Just get the ball.” She says. “It’s closer to you anyway.”
Blue giggles and turns around to get the ball.
“Hey Red, I have your soccer ball,” a kid with short black hair and light brown eyes says walking up and passes Blue.
Red’s face turns pink. “H-hi Daniel…” she says. “Um, how’d you know that was mine?”
Daniel chuckles. “You’re the only girl in this school probably who brings a soccer ball to school. Plus, it has your name scribbled on it.”
“Oh, oh right.” Red says and blushes even more. She takes the ball from him and looks away.
“Well, I’ll see you later Red.” Daniel says as he walks away.
Red turns to look at him again and smiles. He is so cute… she thinks.
“You like him, don’t you Red?” Blue asks poking Red on her arm.
“What? Me like him? Hah! In your dreams,” Red says while she is blushing from embarrassment. “And stop poking me.”
Blue looks at her and crosses her arms and puts then against her chest. “Don’t lie to me, I can see the blush in your face, you’re as red as a tomato!”
Red blushes even more. “Okay, maybe a little.” Red says and looks down at the ground. “Or maybe a lot.”
"You know, he is in our class.” Blue says tugging on Red’s shirt.
“I know that.” Red replies looking back up and at Blue. “If you have noticed, I stare at him during class.” She then covers her mouth wishing she hadn’t said that and lets out and light laugh.
“Oh, I’ve noticed.” Blue says giggling. She then takes Red’s soccer ball and starts to kick it around.
“Hey!” Red yells at Blue, and then she chases the ball with Blue trying to get it back.
