Red finishes up her English essay on bullying as the school bell rings, indicating class is over.
“Red, can I have your paper?” Mrs. Bloom asks her.
“Yeah, just one moment, I’m nearly done with my essay.” She says writing down the last two sentences.
‘Bulling hurts people in many ways, and the damage can never be fixed. That is why no matter what, people should never bully.’
Red then puts down her pencil and hands the paper to Mrs. Bloom.
“Thank you,” she says. “Now, run along. I’ll see you on Monday.”
Red nods putting her pencil in her bag. “Bye Mrs. Bloom, I hope you have a nice weekend.” She then grabs her things and heads out the door.
She walks over to the hall way where the two buildings meet since her locker is in that area.
When she gets there, she then trips over something, and falls to the ground. Her books slide out of her hands and across the floor.
“Hey, are you okay?” Someone asks behind her and helps her up. The voice belongs to a boy. Red feels him put his arms on her waist and he lifts her up.
Once Red is up, she turns around to see Daniel and her stomach clenches. “H-hey Daniel…” Red says beginning to feel nervous. Oh my god, get out of here before you do anything stupid. She thinks and takes a step back.
“Hey Red,” He says handing Red her books. “You dropped these.”
Red blushes grabbing the books, and then hides her face behind them. “Well, thanks for helping me up. I guess I’ll see you on Monday. Or, where are you going? Home or to the rooms of the school?” stupid! It’s now like your trying to find out where he lives! Red thinks and mentally slaps herself. Come on Daniel, leave, please I don’t want to do anything stupid in front of you.
“Oh, you haven’t noticed? I live in the school rooms.” He says and chuckles.
“Oh, right. I haven’t noticed.” Red says. “Anyway, bye,” she says and quickly tries to walk away feeling stupid.
“Oh, hey Red,” Daniel starts and walks up to Red, and continues, “I was wondering if you wanted get together with me tomorrow night, or something, you know, like a date.”
Red looks at him in shock. She freezes in her tracks and can’t move, or say anything. It’s like she could only hear her own hear beat. It takes about a minute before she finally gets the courage to reply. “Yes!” She yells. “I mean, um…yeah sure. I don’t think I have any plans.” She then finishes blushing again.
Daniel laughs and smiles. “Great, pick you up at seven. My older cousin can take us to a movie or something; she’s in town this week so yeah.”
Red shrugs. “Sure I guess. By the way, my room is number two eighteen, and here is my number in case you want to give me a call.” She quickly writes down her number on a strip of paper and gives it to him.
“Great, well, see you tomorrow.” He says and walks away.
No Daniel, don’t go I love you. Red thinks and giggles to herself.
Red smiles and puts her stuff away in her locker, and puts the stuff she needs in her book bag. She then runs across the hall way and towards her room. Once inside, she picks up the phone and calls both Violet and Amber.
“Hey, come by my room, immediately.” Red says and hangs up the phone before any reply.
She quickly walks to Blue’s room and knocks on the door.
“Hello?” Blue says as she opens the door.
“Hey Blue.” Red said. “Let’s go to my room.”
Blue nods and together, Red and Blue walk into Red’s room.
“What’s so important?” Blue asks sitting down in a chair.
“A few things, I’ve been thinking of a plan on how to get the Amber stone.” Red says and waits for Violet and Amber to show up.
The first person to show up is Violet.
“Hey, what’s the big emergency?” She asks. “I was in the middle of tutoring my sisters.”
“Sorry,” Red says. “I’ll explain once Amber gets here.”
“Oh, she might not make it. I believe she’s still out with Drake.” Violet says and puts her bag down on Red’s bed.
Red shakes her head. “She’s always with him.”
“I wouldn’t blame her. I think Drake’s getting pretty upset about the fact that she hangs with us more than him now. I even think I heard him talking to himself about breaking up with her or not. But it led to not.” Violet says.
“That’s pretty harsh.” Blue says.
About ten minutes later, voices are heard outside of Red’s door. A knocking is then heard and Blue opens the door. Amber’s on the other side of the door saying bye to Drake.
“Oh my god, what is this emergency? Drake’s pretty upset that I had to leave.” Amber says as soon as she walks in. she puts down her bags and sits.
“I figured out a plan on how to get the Amber stone!” Red says.
“Oh my god, how,” Amber asks getting a bit excited. “Now this I have to hear!”
“So, tomorrow we all go to Violet’s house at around noon. She shows us where the stone is. Then Violet distracts Drake and starts a fight with him or something, just distract him. While Drake is distracted, Amber takes the stone and hides it in her bag, or pocket, or something.” Red says.
“Is that it?” Blue asks interrupting.
“No, I’m almost done.” Red says. “Once the stone’s missing, Drake will notice. So, I had my friend’s cousin make a replica of how I described it.” Red takes a small amber color stone that’s the shape of a hexagon out of her bag. “You did say it looked like this, right Violet?” Red then asks.
Violet nods. “That dose looks like his stone.” Violet says. “I just hope he doesn’t notice, because it’s not exactly that way.”
Red nods and continues, “Now, I will give Blue the stone and after Amber takes the real one, Blue will look over at his stone collection and place in the fake one. Nothing will really be suspected because we all know Blue likes to look at things.”
The three other girls nod.
“Sounds like a plan.” Amber says. “I just hope it works.”
“Trust me, it will. I have that feeling it will.” Red says.
